The name of Cube Entertainment's new boy group has finally been revealed. Say hello to B2ST, or Boys 2 Search the Top. This coming September, B2ST will debut with AJ's rehashed song Dancing Shoes, promising great stage performance and vocal talent. Recently unveiled in Tokyo,theboys have undergone strenuous training and are in the processofrecording songs, going to MV sites and showcases, and preparing fortheMTV documentary filming. The documentary, which shows the lives of Cube trainees, airs August 23rd.

Cube Entertainment's new 6 member boy band, "B2ST (Boys 2 Search the Top)," which features AJ, Yoon Doo Joon, Poppin' Dragon, So-1, Son Dong Woon, and Yang Yo Seob will have their own MTV Documentary show.Well,the preview for the first episode has been released. The previewshows a35 second clip of the boys at their training facility andstudio.
It's pretty cool that MTV is doing this documentary, so you can seetheprocess if you will. A group before they're even stars and maybeontheir journey to become one... like their namesake, as the Boyssearchtheir way to the top. The first episode is going to air August23rd onMTV Korea at 3 PM Korea Time.
Jang Hyun Seung On Being Eliminated from Big Bang
Jang Hyun Seung, also known by his stage name SO-1, opened up about the hardships he experienced up to this point and being eliminated from the popular boy group Big Bang.
For those who are unfamiliar with him, Jang Hyun Seung was once under YG Entertainment, training to become an official member of Big Bang.Unfortunately,he was eliminated from the group on the 9th episode ofBig Bang'sdocumentary--a decision made by the management company whichdeeplyaffected both the fans and fellow members alike.
Since then, Jang Hyun Seung has transferred over to Cube Entertainment and began preparations as a member of the upcoming guy group, B2ST.
In the MTV documentary of 'B2ST',whichaired its first episode on August 23rd, the former YG traineeopened upto the public about his reaction to being cut from Big Bang.
"After being eliminated [from Big Bang], I went through areallydifficult time. Whenever I was alone, I would feel extremelylonely.However, I think those times gave me motivation to work thatmuchharder. They became memories that I cherish even until today."
He continued, "If not for then, I would not be where I amnow.I made many memories with Big Bang so when people say 'Now, youarerivals', I feel very hurt."
Aside from good looks and notable singing/dancing abilities, JangHyunSeung seems to have more in common with his fellow B2ST membersthanexpected. Yoon Doo Joon, who was once a part of the MNet documentary, 'Hot Blood', and was set to debut in JYPE group One Day until he, too, was cut. Like Jang Hyun Seung, Lee Ki Kwang (also known by his stage name, AJ) and Son Dong Woon also trained for a long time under JYP Entertainment while Yang Yo Seob, under M-Boat.
Having merged together from various entertainment companies to formanew group entirely, the 6 members are, needless to say,gaininginterest from the public rather quickly.
Well, it's been revealed that they'll be giving viewers asneak-previewof their title-song in the next episode of thedocumentary! The partsof the song they will reveal are 8 bars from theintroduction. Althoughthe name of their title-song hasn't been revealedyet, you can stillexpect a hit-song because it was composed by talentedcomposers. Thecomposers include Shin Sa Dong Tiger (Lee Ho Yang), who composed 4minute's "Hot Issue" and "MUZIK," and Lee Sang Ho.
Not only will you get a sneak-preview, you'll also get to seethingslike the members having a surprise street performance to show adynamicteaser as well as the B2ST's members surprise visit to thesitcom "High Kick Through The Roof" filming set. The reason being that one of the members, AJ, is cast as character "SaeHo."Themembers have said to have asked the staff members to take good careoftheir fellow member, as they gave around small gifts and greetings.

Solid proof of B2ST/Beast's new name and it'smeaning!Although either spelling of their name is correct (theydesigned thefont of their name so that the an "e" and "a" fusedtogether would makea 2 like character, as explained by maknae DongWoonin episode 8 oftheir documentary), the ancronym for their name is now"Boys of the EAstStanding Tall" instead of "Boys 2 Search for Top".Even though we wereall a bit skeptical and against the name change atfirst, I can honestlysay I like this ancronym better AND we get tokeep the 2. Anotherclarification from your girls Iya and Nad ;] Hopethis helps all youconfused fans out there!
Through competition, the fanclub has been recruiting people and now it's been confirmed.
The fanclub has posted up the entry and poll results, and the BEASTmembers and company reflected over them and made a final decision. Thefinal decision for BEAST's fanclub name is "B2UTY (beauty)".
The very first B2UTY who applied <songyu91 -junhyung yoojin> willrecieve a signed CD with an autographed message by the members and apolariod picture taken by them as well.
The BEAST members are very happy that, with the fanclub's love, they applied and commented, bringing the final decision. ^^~!

On December 3rd, BEAST accepted their Rookie Award for the DecemberRookie Music Awards from the Korean Creative Contents Agency.
Cultureand fitness tourism representative Yoo In Chon and KoreanCreative Contents Agency's representative Lee Jae Woong hold theseawards andpicked BEAST themselves for the rookies of December.
BEAST seemed more than thankful for this honor and Dong Woon even said, "Please keep loving BEAST."
JongHyun looked into the future and said, "We want to be a grouplike Shinhwa." Doo Joon did the same by saying, "Please expect to see usonvariety programs as well!"
I have no worries that BEAST will do just as well if not surpass Shinhwa's success.
