Pasti ramai diantara kita pernah menonton 'The Conjuring' - sebuah filem seram yang mendapat sambutan di seluruh dunia, pengarahnya tak lain tak bukan iaitu James Wan, seorang anak muda Cina yang berasal dari Kuching, Sarawak.
Sebelum ini James mencipta nama melalui arahan beberapa siri filem seram seperti SAW, Insidious, Dead Silence dan lain-lain, setelah mengarah filem aksi pertama Furious 7, James Wan kembali mengarah filem seram yang memang diiktiraf hebat pengarahannya.
Baru-baru ini, James mengumumkan penggambaran filem 'The Conjuring 2' dimulakan dan berjanji akan mencipta rekod filem seram yang lebih hebat.
Walaupun berjaya mencipta kutipan paling tinggi bagi 'Furious 7', James masih teringin sangat untuk mengulangi kehebatan filem-filem seram yang diarahnya sebelum ini, terutamanya filem 'The Conjuring' telah memperolehi komen filem dan kutipan yang amat menggalakkan.
Oleh sebab itu, James mengambil keputusan untuk sekali lagi mengarah filem seram yang memang merupakan genre filem yang diminiatinya.
Baru-baru ini, dia berkongsi sekeping gambar di lokasi penggambaran 'The Conjuring 2' menerusi laman twitter peribadinya.

Dalam gambar kelihatan dia bersama pelakon utama iaitu Patrick Wilson dan Vera Varmiga, jadi kumpulan penggambaran filem 'The Conjuring' yang hebat bergabung semula untuk menghasilkan filem 'The Conjuring 2' yang pasti lebih mantap.
'The Conjuring 2' yang juga diadaptasi daripada kisah sebenar, bagaimana menyambung cerita mengenai pasangan suami isteri Warren, pasti dinanti-nantikan oleh semua peminat The Conjuring.
Dapat tak mengekalkan plot yang sungguh menakutkan seperti bahagian pertama The Conjuring, ianya menguji kehebatan pengarahan James Wan.

The Smurl Family
The Warren's were called out to West Pittston, Pensylvania in 1986 after hearing of a family home that had been haunted for the last 5 years.
The unfortunate owners, the Smurl family, were subjected to a demon that caused loud noises and bad odors, threw their dog into a wall, shook their mattress, pushed one of their daughters down a flight of stairs, and physically and sexually assaulted them on several occasions.
According to Ed Warren, the demon that inhabited the Smurls home was one of the most powerful spirits he had ever encountered and that it shook mirrors and furniture after they tried to persuade it to leave by playing religious music and praying. The demon even once left a message in a steamed-up mirror, reading, "get out!"
The Enfield Poltergeist
This scary tale is strongly rumored to be the story upon which The Conjuring 2 will be based, albeit set in the United States rather than the United Kingdom.
The notorious Enfield Poltergeist held the entire British nation gripped in fear. It puzzled policemen, psychics, experts in the occult and paranormal, and hardened newspaper reporters alike.
It was the most petrifying supernatural case in history. It involved levitation, furniture being moved through the air, and flying objects swirling towards witnesses. There were cold breezes, physical assaults, graffiti, water appearing on the floor, and even claims of matches spontaneously bursting into flame.
The occurrences took place in Enfield, United Kingdom at the home of the divorced Margaret Hodgson and her children Peggy, thirteen; Janet, eleven; Johnny, ten.
It all started when the children began to hear knocking sounds and witness their beds shaking uncontrollably throughout the night. When their concerned mother phoned the police, an officer witnessed a chair wobble and slide but could not understand why. The next morning, the children's toys began to “zoom out of thin air and bounce off the walls.”
Paranormals experts were finally called after a report suggesting one of the children had levitated aggressively whilst sleeping!
Hence, the Warren's were again called to England. They confirmed what had been reported. Ed said that Janet was at least once was “sound asleep, levitating in midair”.
Rumor: ‘The Conjuring 2′ Will Send the Warrens to 1970s England
The case file they’re looking at [occurs] in the late ’70s and centers on two sisters in Enfield, England, who were allegedly possessed. Warren said she personally saw them levitate and even saw one of the sister dematerialize in front of her only to be found 20 minutes later stuffed into an oversized fuse box, contorted in such an unnatural way that they couldn’t have replicated it if they tried. She also said that the demon spoke directly to her husband on many occasions. Warren cited this case as one of the most terrifying experiences of her career.
