PA to pay civil servants portion of January salary
The Palestinian Authority will pay a portion of January's monthly wage for its civil servants on Monday, a spokesman of the Palestinian Ministry of Finance said.

The decision was rejected by the speaker of the general federation of teachers unions in the West Bank. Ahmad Suhweil said the decision "is wrong at this time and the secretary-general of the Nablus union will be held responsible for the decision.
