[size=1.2em]The gunman who went on a drive-by shooting rampage in a student enclave that left seven people dead had posted a chilling video warning of 'retribution' because he was still a virgin aged 22.
[size=1.2em]Elliot Rodger, who was driving a black BMW, is believed to have acted alone in the shootings at about 9:30pm on Friday night in Isla Vista near the University of California, Santa Barbara.
[size=1.2em]Now, authorities are examining a video posted on social media by the shooter - called 'Elliot Rodger's Retribution' - in which he rants about women who supposedly rejected his advances.
[size=1.2em]The Santa Barbara City College student unleashes a tirade about his 'loneliness, rejection and unfulfilled desires', blaming women for preferring 'obnoxious brutes' to him, 'the supreme gentleman'.

[size=1.2em]Rodger's family called police several weeks ago after being alarmed by YouTube videos 'regarding suicide and the killing of people,' a lawyer said yesterday.
[size=1.2em]Police interviewed Rodger and found him to be a 'perfectly polite, kind and wonderful human,' family attorney Alan Shifman said.
[size=1.2em]A three-week old video called 'Another sunny day in Santa Barbara' include the description 'I temporarily took all of my Vlog's down due to the alarm it caused with some people in my family. I will post more updates in the future.'

Chase: Rodger crashed his BMW after he was pursued by police

[size=1.2em]Sheriff Brown said the suspect exchanged gunfire with deputies and then drove off and crashed into a parked car.
[size=1.2em]'We have obtained and are currently analyzing both written and videotaped evidence that suggests this atrocity was a premeditated mass murder,' Sheriff Brown said.
[size=1.2em]Deputies found the suspect inside the BMW dead from a gunshot wound to the head.
[size=1.2em]But the sheriff said he did not know if the suspect was shot and killed by deputies or if the wound was self-inflicted. A semiautomatic handgun was recovered.
