For the last few days everybody is talking about Kim Karadshian filing for divorce from her professional basketball player, Kris Humphries, after a mere 72 days of marriage, citing “irreconcilable differences.” The media speculates that this was a scene marriage, planned as a way of making profit, considering that “fairytale” wedding was televised as a two-night special event on the E! and that they earned $17.9 million from the ceremony. Of course, the couple, overwhelmed with pain, denies everything.

Well, just to show that this short marriage isn’t anything new and odd in the world of rich and famous, we made a list of top ten shortest celebrity marriages ever. You’ll be shocked to find out that Kim and Kris rank actually pretty high, considering the fact that there were celebrities whose wedlock lasted less than a day! Some say that in Hollywood relationships are under a lot of pressure because of the constant paparazzi chase and being in constant view of the public eye. They say that the celebrity couples can’t have real intimacy and are also away from each other a lot because of their busy lives.
