Ibu Sanggup Angkut Sape 7kg Untuk Anak Semata-Mata Nak Dapatkan Tandatangan Agong

Seorang ibu berusia 36 tahun sanggup redah lautan orang ramai bagi mendapatkan tandatangan Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah untuk sape anaknya.


Difahamkan, ia merupakan percubaan kedua Lily Ajau.


"Sejak malam tadi (Isnin), anak saya berkeras untuk mendapatkan tandatangan Yang di-Pertuan Agong pada alat muzik Iban seberat tujuh kilogram itu.


"Kami menunggu ketibaan baginda di hadapan SMK Methodist, Jalan Tun Abang Haji Openg dari pukul 5 petang hingga 8 malam kerana diberitahu baginda akan memandu melalui tempat itu," katanya seperti dipetik di The Star.

Bagaimanapun, rombongan baginda menggunakan laluan berbeza ke Dewan Kelab Melayu Kampung Nyabor untuk menghadiri majlis makan malam bersama masyarakat.


Melihat bahawa dia memberitahu anaknya Elthan Donatus, 10, bahawa hari sudah lewat dan mereka perlu pulang kerana dia perlu hadir ke sekolah pada keesokan harinya.


"Selepas selesai makan malam, dia meminta kami pergi ke Hotel RH di mana Raja menginap, tetapi saya tidak mahu kerana takut kami terlebih tidur dan dia akan ponteng sekolah.


"Dia berasa sangat kecewa. Pagi tadi, ketika hendak bertolak ke sekolah, dia ingatkan saya mesti dapatkan tandatangan," katanya.


Melihat kesungguhan anaknya untuk mendapatkan tandatangan Raja, dia telah membawa Sape itu menemui Agong yang akan melawat pasar pusat.


“Saya berdoa sangat-sangat kerana tidak ditimpa malang untuk kali kedua. Apabila saya melihat kenderaan Baginda, saya mengejarnya.


"Nasib baik kenderaan itu berhenti, dan saya meminta seseorang di hadapan saya memberi laluan. Saya kemudian membawa Sape yang panjang sedikit kepada Raja untuk menandatanganinya," katanya.


Selepas mendapat autograf itu, Lily menyifatkannya sebagai detik bersejarah.


Walaupun ia hanya autograf, ia adalah kenangan sekali seumur hidup.


Apa yang penting, tegasnya, permintaan anaknya itu telah ditunaikan.


"Saya harap Elthan gembira selepas ini. Ini pengorbanan saya untuknya kerana bukan mudah untuk mendapatkan autograf Raja kita," katanya. -CARI
