Jun Matsumoto, Yuko Takeuchi star in next "Getsu 9" drama
It has been confirmed that Arashi's Jun Matsumoto (26) will star in Fuji TV's Monday night drama series next season. He will be the first member of the group to appear in a drama during that time slot, and this will be his first lead role in a full-length Fuji TV series.
The drama, titled "Natsu no Koi wa Nijiiro ni Kagayaku," is an original love story by "Buzzer Beat" screenwriter Mika Omori. The female lead is being played by Yuko Takeuchi (30), who starred in "Lunch Queen" and "Fukigen na Gene," both also written by Omori.
In the show, Matsumoto plays a struggling actor who has developed a complex due to his father, a famous actor. The character is described as being "tsundere," a term referring to people who are normally cold in personality but become overly fawning when they are around their love interest. In this case, that love interest is an older woman being played by Takeuchi, whose character is said to be spirited, but also mysterious due to certain circumstances.
"Natsu no Koi wa Nijiiro ni Kagayaku" will air Monday nights at 9:00pm, starting in July.

Synopsis
Kusunoki Taiga (Matsumoto Jun) was born as the second son of a famous actor, Kusunoki Kotaro. Taiga himself is a second-generation actor, but has not been able to gain popularity and has an inferiority complex. He only appears in variety shows rather than acting performances most of the time. He hates being mocked about capitalising on his father’s fame, and laments the lost of his own identity. His romances are short-lived because he gets bothered even by the way the girl he dates holds her chopsticks. Then one day, Taiga goes skydiving with Keita, a friend who is also a second-generation actor, to amuse himself. However, he suddenly loses control of his parachute and drifts far away from the drop point. Landing on top of some trees in a wooded area, Taiga finds himself suspended in midair when Shiori (Takeuchi Yuko), a mysterious, beautiful older woman, gallantly appears. He falls in love with Shiori, a cheerful person who laughs her worries away, at first sight...

Kento Nagayama-san is Jo Irabu (26) who consider enemy of Taiga, he take up the role that Taiga targets at auditions every time.
Yutaka Matsushige-san is Hisao Aoki (42) a president of Taiga’s agency. He with Taiga to grow into a real actor but run around in his thought, he tighten up Taiga who got only variety show jobs.
Big actor father of Taiga, Koutaro Kusunoki (65) Shiro Ito, He is loved by TV drama serials. He worried about Taiga more than anyone and watch for him kindly.
And Kotarou’s wife Machiko (55) Keiko Matsuzaka, she used to be a big name actress who was no.1 of actress that you want to get married with her. She quitted job after married, but she can’t do any house keeping, air head character, and such cute mother.
