Episodes & Synopsis (+spoiler) of Season 4 Ghost Whisperer
1. Firestarter (401) ~ October 3, 2008
Eli (Jamie Kennedy) survives a fire in his office and when Melinda and Jim go to the hospital to visit him, Melinda realizes he can hear ghosts, but he can't see them. Melinda investigates the ghost that is haunting him and learns it has something to do with fire and when Melinda gets close to the truth she gets trapped in a fire started by the ghost. Also, Melinda learns Rick is leaving on sabbatical and Ned has a new job as a waiter at a Chinese restuarant.
Spoiler: Watak Eli ni, akan menjadi pengganti Prof Payne. Eli akan jd side-kick Melinda dlm episode2 akan dtg.
2. Big Chills (402) ~ October 10, 2008
A popular former classmate, Grace Adams, contacts Melinda because she thinks her dead friend, Lucas, is haunting her after discovering his body. Secrets come to light that Grace, Lucas, and another friend have covered up an accidental death that happened ten years ago instead of reporting it to the police. The plotline of the hit-and-run is similar to the plotline in I Know What You Did Last Summer, which Jennifer Love Hewitt starred in.
3. Ghost in the Machine (403) ~ October 17, 2008
Melinda, Ned, and Eli discover a ghost in the online game, Virtual Life. Melinda and Eli soon find the ghost and discover he is a concerned father who is trying to warn his daughter, Alise that a sexual predator is targeting her through Virtual Life. Using Eli's FBI contacts Melinda is in a race against time to keep Alise out of harms way which gets harder when Alise unknowingly gets into a car with the preadtor.
Comment aku: episode yg sgt menarik sbb Melinda masuk dlm online game ni. nampak la Melinda punye rambut bertuka2 style, baju pon lain dr lain. siap lawan2 lagi.
4. Save Our Souls (404) ~ October 24, 2008
Melinda and Jim go on a cruise to celebrate their honeymoon. When they get there, they meet a young newlywed couple, Rich and Julia, and Melinda realizes a ghost has attached itself to Rich. Melinda also realizes the ship is full of ghosts that are having fun and partying. Melinda figures out that the ghost is looking for her fiance who wronged her and attaches herself to any man who she thinks is her fiance and Melinda suspects that she was murdered.
Comment aku: another interesting episode, since episode ni dibuat di luar Grandview.
5. Bloodline (405) ~ October 31, 2008
A young woman passes out at a tennis club and Ned is there dialing 911. She dies and her ghost tries to convince Melinda not to tell a secret about her parentage that she had been keeping because it would hurt her mother to know the truth. When Melinda decides to tell her mother, the girl is shocked to find out her mother already knew the truth. Melinda feels nauseous and dizzy and thinks she is pregnant but is disappointed when she and Jim go to the doctor.
6. Imaginary Friends and Enemies (406) ~ November 7, 2008
Melinda and Jim attend a wedding for Jim's friend Trish and Melinda discovers that a child ghost is haunting Trish and convincing her to play a game which he says will keep her safe. When Trish plays the game she discovers a terrible truth about her fiance and calls off the wedding. When Jim goes back to clean up, the enraged ex-fiance is still there and he and Jim struggle and Jim is shot. He is taken to the hospital and appears to Melinda as a ghost telling her to remember him this way, she realizes it's Jim's ghost and in the background Jim begins to flatline.

7. Threshold (407) ~ November 14, 2008
Melinda has a hard time helping a troubled teenage ghost while Melinda deals with drastic changes to her personal life. To make things only worse, a car crashes and Jim's spirit goes into the victim's body. Only to completely forget who Melinda is.
8. Heart & Soul (408) ~ November 21, 2008
Melinda is drawn to a man Sam/Jim who is suffering from amnesia and she enthusiastically tries to help him regain his memory.
Comment aku: erkk. aku tatau nape. tp aku menangis agak teruk jugak tgk episod ni.. WAHAHHA!! btw, tagline utk episode ni adalah "Tagline: The Most Romantic Episode Ever". mmg betul pon. meremang bulu roma aku tgk. tp samada benar2 boleh berlaku, tatau la.
9. Pieces Of You (409) ~ November 28, 2008
A mystery involving a wishing well uncovers information about the decades-old disappearance of a little girl, now haunting Sam/Jim. Melindatracks down a girl who has been missing for 12 years and discovers a long-held secret.

When Nikki pays a prolonged visit, Melinda fears that Sam/Jim will never reconnect with his true nature. Meanwhile, Melinda discovers a mysterious and vengeful contingent of ghosts at a local lake, where a financially distressed mortician had been secretly dumping bodies scheduled for cremation.
14. Slow Burn (414) ~ February, 2009
As Melinda and Sam/Jim decide to give dating a try, Melinda must also help the ghost of Deborah Marks protect her teenage daughter from a supposedly bad-news boyfriend.
15. Greek Tragedy (415) ~ February, 2009
A sorority girl goes missing in the woods during a secret initiation ceremony, and Melinda is confronted with the uneasy spirit of a sad ghost who encountered tragedy during that same ritual 40 years ago.
