im as one of the taxpayer, really rasa not-appropriate sbb KLIA should be to self-sustain. hampeh! so typical! asek bagi tongkat je.

Report: Malaysian airport slammed for govvt subsidy
KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (AP) — Malaysia's 10-year-old international airport has come under criticism from lawmakers for relying on a government handout of 1 billion ringgit ($286 million) each year to fund its operations.
As a major regional aviation hub, the Kuala Lumpur International Airport should be self-sustaining and be able to meet its operational costs, Abdul Khalid Ibrahim, a lawmaker with the opposition People's Justice Party was quoted as saying Tuesday by the New Straits Times.
"The government should explain why the airport is costing the taxpayers so much," he was quoted as saying while debating the government's annual allocation for the airport in the 2009 federal budget in parliament.

Takkan opex tinggi sangat sampai gomen kena top up 1 billion every year.. takkan revenue KLIA sikit sangat sampai gomen kena top-up that much?.. biarlah auditor masuk tengok kalau ada mana2 kebocoran... |

TUN penyagak buat KLIA siap 1998 at a cost $10 billion pun masih ada problem lagi ka?
KKIA (kota kinabalu) siap 2008 at a cost $770 juta jer apasal tak meragam?
sebab siap lepas TUN bersara ke...
so projek selepas TUN bersara semua ok
