harini pun aku terima sms pengesahan pendaftran maxis broadband nih. tapi ingat nak cancel sebab ada limit P2P and 3GB sebulan. ingat 3GB tu banyak ke? Cuma setakat satu mlm download aja! Walaupun TMnet ni Nut, tapi sofar boleh laaa...no fine print! RM88 for everything siang malam!

Hello Guys,


Recently I asked Maxis customer services regarding download issues using P2P that shall not exceed 3 GB, if we have to pay additional cost ...

I got reply from them,

Thank you for contacting Maxis.

Our Fair Usage Policy is basically targeted at customers using Peer-To-Peer (P2P) and/or File Sharing programs.  Because of the large amount of data being sent and received; these activities may cause network congestion and can negatively impact the speed at which other customers can access the Internet.  Therefore, Maxis does not guarantee a service level and/or connectivity to users of P2P or File Sharing programs.

Nonetheless, we have yet to proactively control the usage based on the imposed limit.  However, in the event that the user has excessively exceeding the limit, we will contact the user to moderate his/her usage.
This is to ensure every customer get to enjoy fast and reliable service at all times.

We hope the explanation clarifies your concern.  If we can be of further assistance, please do not hesitate to call us at 1800-822-000 or email us.

Maxis ni Celak*

aku subcribe maxis. tapi belum sempat diregisterkan nama aku dan di installkan maxis wireless ke rumah aku. aku dah CANCEL.

lepas sebulan aku dapat bil rm258 suruh bayar.

sakit jiwa aku. pakai tak, install pon tak alih2 dapat bil.

call customer service die cakap account aku belum terminate.

senang cerita Customer Service Maxis ni TAK BOLEH pakai.

*peringatan kepada sesiapa yang call customer service maxis, sila dapatkan nama operator tersebut.

alamak.... aku ni tgh tunggu installer datang pasang, nak test sebulan.

dengar ko cakap kena charge  258,,,

jadi macam nak batal je..

Takkan Maxis dah charge walaupun belum install, belum activate lagi? kata sebulan trial. Aku punya belum pasang lagi, belum activate lagi...dan belum CANCEL lagi. ENtah2 Maxis dah prepare bill dah! :@ Kalau mcm ni mmg siut!

Walaupun korang dah cancel, Maxis akan kenakan charge jugak, RM258. Diorang kata, diorang akan pulangkan balik duit tu bila akaun itu telah ditutup secara rasmi. Kesimpulannya, diorang akan charge jugak RM258 dan akan bayar balik. Bila bayar balik, tu tak tau la.

last-last aku call lagi sekali. aku sound sikit sebab memang aku dah cancel sebelum die install.

die cakap die terminate account aku dan bill tu die waived. dan aku amek name operator tu terus in case kalo account tak terminate buat kali kedua.

what kind of LANUN is this?
Free trial sebulan, kata no obigation
tapi dah charge awal2, lepas tu suruh bayar RM258, then return duit balik bila cancel/close account.
Is that easy kalau charge bila agree to continue service after trial?

Yang worst...belum pasang apa2, belum register internet account lagi, tapi dah ada bill bila cancel free trial sebelum Maxis dtg pasang!
Kalau mcm ni mmg bapak LANUN punya kerja...
Maxis should clarify on this issue...takkan nak rompak public money mcm tu kot? Ananda sudah takde duit ke?

rasanya logic jugak. maxis cuma beri percubaan utk pelanggan yg serius.
so, tak salah RM258 tu di charge dulu sebagai cagaran/deposit - ygmana akan di refund kalau pelanggan tk berpuas hati dan batalkan langganan sebelum bulan kedua.


kalau aku jadi supplier broadband pun, aku takkan kasi orang cuba free-free aje. mestila bayar deposit dan lelain. kalo nk kensel, tu blakang kira, refund kira bukak buku lain.

kalau trial tu free tanpa sbrg ikatan, sapa2 pun bleh test cuba, pastu lepas test, kata tak best. so, tak jadi nak langgan. tokey mana tak marah kalo jadi camni kan?

sapa nak niaga kalo takleh untung? ;)

Kalau nak buat policy mcm tu kenalah cakap awal2 masa signup tuh.
Ini tidak...orang yg dok promote tu mati2 kata no need to pay anything. Maxis will start billing at the 2nd month after you agree to continue.
Within 1 month boleh return anytime..no obligation. Cuma isi nama dan bagi salinan IC aja.
Itu yg Maxis promoter dok ceriita. Bila tanya betul2...are you sure? Dia orang cakap you tak perlu risau, just return within 30days kalau x puas hati.

So..kenalah cakap betul2, jangan susahkan orang. Business, business gak...untung.nak untung gak, tapi jangan ada hidden "lanun" plak:@

aku sangat sokong ape yang ko cakap ni. bukan aje orang yang promote tapi mase aku call customer service pon siap promote kate try dulu secara PERCUMA selama sebulan lepas tu en. boleh CANCEL tanpa sebarang bayaran dikenakan.

Aku dah kena kencing kat digital Mall ngan bebudak promoter Maxis nih. Even budak2 Maxis tu siap cakap unlimited download, and p2p mmg marvelous than streamyx.

Cuma satu aje aku harap...agar Maxis betulkan policy dia tuh..jgan masa promote lain, tapi bila bill & policy lain.
Dalam hal2 mcm ni aku respect Streamyx, takde hanky panky, takde hidden policy, takde hidden cost. Cuma aku geram tang speed aje! Not as what they promise. So apa mau buat ngan Maxis nih?
1) Call customer service..complain
2) Hantar Fax
3) Buat report to Consumer Association cc. to newspaper
4) Blogging
5) Posting kat forums

Bukannya apa, apa yg kita mahu cuma simple aje...
1) Kalau free trial, betul2 free trial. Kalau kena bayar, cakap kena bayar..kalau billing start 1 month after usage kena cakap betul2 kat customers
2) Kalau limited data up to 3GB cakap betul2 masa orang tanya tuh!, jangan tipu cakap unlimited data
3) Kalau disconect after 20/30min of usage tu cakap betul2, jgan tipu cakap 24hr unlimited connection
4) Kalau nak charge data excess 3GB tu cakap betul2 berapa rate..

MAXIS, JANGAN DOK BOHONG CUSTOMERS MASA BUAT PROMOTION

aku mula nya memang la nak try sebulan. tapi aku pk balik bace balik policy nak elak kene tipu. lepas 3hari aku register kat promoter maxis, aku call customer service nak cancel. customer service tu cakap kenape tak try dulu. free aje. tapi aku cancel gak. alih2 datang bill. nampak sangat bill dah generate awal2 lagi.

kalau tak kisah pasal P2P/torrent and tak download movie i think Maxis should be ok.
Tapi what's the point of having internet broadband kalau just setakat browsing and chatting saja.
P2P is the way to go...
satu HD moviepun dah about 2GB..
trial/beta version program mcm VISTA pun dah dekat 2GB
so kalau sebulan limit 3GB camana?

If Maxis broadband is just for mobile user/businessman who like to travel, and they dont need heavy download, i dont think i is apropriate also kerana  3Gmodem dia  lebih besar dari  ASDLmodem. Nak bawak kehulu kehilir ke?  I'm not sure if we can request for 3Gdata card for notebook user..yg aku tgk mmg seketul besar!

bil bulan2 dapat rm 73 sebab ada itemised billing.
bleh cancel ker itemised billing ni?

speed test taknah kurang dari 500k.

itu la.. setakat ni tgh tunggu. Sepatutnya teknikal dia datang semalam tapi tak datang pun.. Ptg semalam aku call tapi dia kata nak call semula.

Haram jadah tak ada call pun...
Sekarang ni aku buat diam dulu. Kalau dia nak tang pasang aku kata tak ada rumah. pasal semalam janji nak datang tapi tak datang. Pi rah Maxis
