(New Straits Times) - Mob justice does not pay as six suspects alleged to have taken the law into their own hands and killed a snatch thief, may be charged with murder.
Police believe that with the arrest of the suspects, all in their 20s, they had solved the murder of Mohd Farid Sarader Ali, 24, who was alleged to have snatched the handbag of a VIP抯 wife.
Following the incident, Mohd Farid, an odd job worker, was allegedly beaten up by the VIP抯 son and his friends in Kampung Sri Puchong on Aug 5.
He was admitted to Serdang Hospital the same day and died three days later without regaining consciousness.
District police chief ACP Zainal Rashid Abu Bakar said yesterday that all the six suspects were arrested in Puchong.
He added they had concluded their investigations and handed over the investigation papers to the deputy public prosecutor (DPP) yesterday.
Zainal Rashid was asked to comment on an allegation by Sakina Kushi Mohamad, the mother of Mohd Farid, that the police were dragging their feet in the case as she claimed it involved a VIP抯 son.

pity. tp ibu tu yg sepatutnya pukul ank dia smpai mati sejak kecik dulu ...
itulah justice yg dia seek gamaknya i.e knp ank dia x mati d tgn dia.. |

kalo ikutkan hati dan emosi ofkos belasah jer peragut tuh..tp kalo ikutkan kewarasan akal dan perikemanusiaan..peragut tuh pttnya diserah kpd polis..tp persoalannya,polis leh wat pe?..sumbat lokap 1 minggu..xde bukti lepaskan..kalo wa jd mangsa ragut mungkin wa belasah skit bg lobam bijik mato dulu br pass kt polis..tp belasah smp mati tu dah kira melampau sgt |

betul! sebab diikutkan hati, dah mati lah budak tu. tapi sapa lah kita ni nak menghukum? pukul sikit-2 dah la... yang si polis bangang pun satu, apasal lah tak bawak penyagak tu ke hospital?? |

hmmmm...klu dah dpt trace no plate tu, report kan senang biar polis handle je...hmmm..saja je nak nyusahkan diri. tak pasal2 mereka tu pulak jd bad guys. last sekali peragut tu rest in peace, awak pulak yang merengkok in depression in cell. |
