been an avid movie fan since aeons.....and byk gak la heroins yg aku suka sgt....heroins kat sini kadang2 lebih menonjol dr hero........and these women epitomize strength, beauty, brains, innocence and courage..and they can be funny, vulnerable  but yet still has human sides of her that touched our hearts from the first time we laid eyes on her gracing the screen.......

when i was 12,
this role changed my concept of heroisme: a woman can be as tough as man ( i was adoring Rambo and Commando)
when i was 18,
a woman can be tough and feminine at the same time.
she became one of my fav actors (she is not always like this, she is hillarious in a comedy)
when i was 22,
a woman can be tough and feminine and still retain her motherly instinct.
when i am now
a woman can be tough, feminine, motherly and more importantly a human being

all from this character.

her struggle is not just to fight these aliens
but to make sense of the environment and the responsibility that she is going through
womanly.

A GREAT METAPHOR OF A MOVIE!

she was nominated for Best Actress 1986 for this role
to be nominated for an action film is very hard to do.
even to this day (Uma Thurman Kill Bill (another great heroic character) pon gagal)
