Down on La Rosaleda, a rich cattle ranch, Don Romulo Cortes, the owner, has just died. He was a man who everyone on the ranch and in the surrounding towns loved because of his kindness and upright nature. Don Romulo's grandson who is the new boss, Cesar Cortes, is apparently the only heir and arbitrarily walks all over people, and the people who are most directly affected by his cruel behavior are Maria and her family.
Cesar and Antonio are the son's of Francisca, who is a tyrant and a manipulator and worked to hasten the death of the patriarch so she could stop her other son Antonio from being named "the heir to the throne".
Antonio convinces Maria of his love and they start an amorous relationship and live out their passion intensely. So Cesar is able to convince Maria that Antonio is to blame for her mother's death. Will Antonio be able to prove his innocence to Maria and finally fulfill his dream of true love with her? |
