Just to add, he is also a very successful lawyer/barrister (ex judge if I remember correctly) .  This guy is as talented as they come.  He produces, composes and is a terrific singer.

He was never a judge for sure! He is also an actor. For those who are interested, currently there is a drama, Di Pinggiran Kasih, showing every wednesday on Brunei tv at abt 8.50 pm. the 1sr Episode was last week.

Singing in Brunei will never pay well. This is simply because the market is very small. There is no nite clubs etc etc. Kalau ganya kan harap  radio Brunei and Brunei tv jangan tah dulu. However I do hope that our singers can one day penetrate the international market especially Malaysia and Indonesia. If that time comes, then there is hope.

BTW, thanks for confirming that Ak Yusri is a cabin crew.  I saw him on one of my flights to KL a while back and I was trying to figure out whether it is really him.  Inda salahku, the wife is also a singer kan?

The wife is also a cabin crew, a filipino girl I think. Yusri is a nice chap. Lives in Kiarong!

I don't think he was ever a magistrate. He was a legal officer and before he resigned, he was the registrar of companies!

Oh ok! I don't know him that well. I had coffee with him a few years back n that was all. Kalau bejumpa di jalan betagur plg but I still cannot say I know him well! D Brunei ani payah jua kitani kan tau semua movement pegawai2 kitani, especially yg nda lama ddalam satu2 position atu. Bukan jua semua movements kana announce melalui tv dan surat khabar. Yang payah nya internal movement ah! Sakajap2 betukar hehehe!
