JK's Digest No. 53 of April 2007 (109 of 2007) Government servant ranking
CHECK THIS OUT, for goodness sake.
I think some people conversant with the Civil service of Sabah can clarify this.
Has there being any change to the Press Division of the Chief Minister's Department as part of the Civil Service?
Definitely the Press Division is not like a political appointee sector.
If that is the case, how are the senior positions in that department be filled?
Maybe the Public Service Commission (PSC) now look into this as how the senior positions can be held by people (not fully qualified) in direct appointment from outside the Civil service recently.
It is public knowledge that this had been done by previous Governments but today it is still being
done.
I believe the Press Secretary and the Deputy Press Secretary had been held by very senior civil servants but now PSC should look at this again.
