But, i always have low confidence level when i want to write in english
expecially in grammatical mistake.
In 5 feb, my friend and i want to attend personal english class to improve
our english. actually i want to take IELTS exam in this april. So, i need
more exercise to improve my english..hehehhe...

will attend
this april (delete 'in')
exercises

gals,
glad you and your friend will attend english classes to improve
your english -

after i graduated, i did attend an english class 'pronunciation in english'
(in university of victoria, bc)
to improve the pronunciation  -  and it helped -

that's great you wanna take IELTS exam --
i wish you all the best!

i'm not really read reader's digest coz i prefer to read magazine
(reader's digest is serious and magazine is so much fun) i've been suscribing
cleo magz for 6 years, i read the star frequently (my lecturer said the star
language is more easy than the nst) and i do love to read english novel.

first of all - reader's digest is NOT a serious magazine at all -
in fact, for starter - who wanna learn english - it is a good start -
you can play the enrich your word (20 questions) to see if you can
understand some of the meaning of the words -
and lots of interesting information in it -
ive been reading RD religiously since like i was 15 and i subscribed it
when i was in canada (canadian version) and now i am in malaysia - i subscribed
malaysian version - and it's awesome --

cleo is fine i reckon (i dun read entertainment mags) and anything that your hands
can get to read - is great  - no matter what kind of magazines in it
(sans playgirl i reckon eh )

i hate english at first, then when i was in form 4, my english teacher
taught my class with so much fun (i couldn't find the right word here, am i right?).
she treat us like a primary school student but i like it. she asked us to cut and paste
from the newspaper (like a primary school student), made a parody from sonnet 18's
shakespeare (for literature) and she even asked the boys to do pick-up line for a girl in
the class.

that's great you had a wonderful english teacher and she made your class so much fun
(fun is the correct word, there) ---  i guess that helped to improve the language when the
teacher made an effort to make the class more enjoyable --

since this is the best english class i ever learn, i look forward to each class with her.
she taught my class for two years and since then i grew fondness to english language
and the best part is i get A1 for my SPM and my bm is worse. well, spm is a written exam
and i don't have to speak, so i can do really well. but now in the universiti, presentation is
compulsory and participation carry 10% mark to final and it's been hard for me.

been
classes
of
was
got an
but my BM was worse than english
in the
quite hard

i think what happened there - lots of students managed to score excellent result in English during
their SPM - but  they couldn't even speak the language -

*u can refer to my other thread in this board --  i did discuss about this issue

as long as u want to learn and improve yourself - go for it!!

i'm still working with my speaking problem with having a simple conversation
with my friend like - let's go to eat. what is the time now, and let's go to......
when i'm having conversation in english with my friend people around  tend to l
ook at me (i know in their mind they will said-berlagak betul nak cakap english, cakapla melayu!).

english
by having

ignore those people -
you are the one who will gain the knowledge
and you are the one who is going to improve yourself --

my lecturers always said people tend to evaluate us and they're being judgemental to other
people. go to hell with what the people said! (this is exactly what my lecturers said to the class)
don't give a damn what is on their mind! our culture is like that, always love to judge other people.
so right now i dont care what other people said to me coz i'm still learning and proud of it.

it's common that people judge others -
by look, by dressing up, - anything  --
but at the end of the day - it is you who will face your life
and improve your life --

it is not only in malaysia -  everywhere in the world -
as long as they are human - some do like to judge -
and i am glad u just keep learning  and ignore 'em
and i am sure you gonna be excellent in this language

keep it up!

my friend also said like that. i need to sit 5 papers for ptd exam. start form 9am until 4.30 pm. i hope i will not so pressure this saturday..tonight i want to make some revision. open my spm book, because they will ask the mathematic questions based on spm syllabus...besides that i need to know about the general knowledge such as how to calculate tax, who is our pm ( i don't think they will ask this simple question..hehe) so many thing need to cover just in 2 day..but this is my fault, because study everything last minute...

since i was in school, i always like to study last minute. sometime it worked, sometime not...until i was in university i still bring this habit especially during the final exam..i just remember what happened to me during my diploma..as usual i study last minute for this paper..but i never expect they are so many sylabbus need to cover for this paper..i think there are only 10 chapter, but when i start study during the night before exam, i found there are 15chap...at that time, i become very panic..oh no..so i can't ocus on my study because i'm very afraid can't finish everything..what i did, just read, read and read and try to remember..when my friends talk with me, i never heard because i'm very pressure..before enter the exam hall, i'm start to cry because i can't finish the syllabus...can u imagine how panic and pressure i am..alhamdullillah, i pass the exam.after that i a i still like to study last minute. but  i will check the syllabus first...

Hello everybody.
Its 5.50am and i still can't sleep.oh ok..just waiting for subuh prayer.Anyway, I was at YM, chatting with some friends, and we got into this work related questions of what should you do to get success in your carreer.
I have some friends who got an offer to work with a big well-known company, this is where it all started.
Would you preffer a director job at somewhere small that you could be a leader, or a job somewhere that you抮e just a number, but makes a lot of money and fits your curriculum just perfect?
That抯 not the question that I wanted to trigger, but it抯 a start, so all of you in here, what抯 success for you?
