how can you find true love when you do not know who you are deep inside....
true love is that two peoples deep inside....
Fits each other perfectly.... Like a key into the keyhold..............
one`s strength covers other`s weakness;
One`s tolerance covers other`s temper etc |

True love has no specific definition(s). It's like the definition of beauty - it is skin deep. And as it is a subjective matter, depending on different perspectives coming from different types of people from different walks of life, "LOVE" holds many, many definitions. For me true love conquers all, and as I believed it, Love is the only thing that can overcome physical attraction. Love carries the confidence inside you to be you and to be able to express it, defines personality...

You are talking about romantic loves, right?
Maybe I'm off the base here. My definition of true love runs contrarily to other people's.
True love for me is pure and unconditional. Eros or romantic loves just doesn't cut it. It is good, but different.
To each his own. |

True love?
To me in the normal sense of the word is that relationship between two people that manifests itself in the utmost and purest of attraction such that the two spirits entwine themselves to become one. In such a situation all is clear and transparent which I would call..........pure. There are no secrets, no fear, no deceits, and transends rules and conditions. All is true and there is only the feeling of fulfillment, freedom and eternal bliss.
Would anyone be able to see(or experience) this?
Now, the human character is much nurtured by the society it lives in. Partners are generally the result of their responsibility to the society. As such rules, terms and conditions become the order of the day which in a sense abberate or impede the spiritual progression. So, my take on this is, as long as people get togather because of a sense of duty rather than the spiritual need( as opposed to 'lust'), they would not see true love.
I hope I am making sense to you all! :cf:

"I hope I am making sense to you all!"<- very...
But I've got 1 general q to ask all...
They say, true love shall never consist of SECRETS; ala ala like "There shall be no secrets between us, you and I"... right? But I thought everyone of us have that "some things are best kept to ourselves" i.e., don't we all have our own little secrets? So by having that one tiny little secret, kept, from someone that you care, from someone that you share your interests with, makes you don't have his or her TRUE LOVE? Be it you're blind or not... Its 1.13am - am I making any sense out of this? |

Thanks for your thoughts, lea...
I maintain that true love is not having to keep secret.......which means...your partner would still accept and love you the way you are....
My take on that little space we usually keep for ourself, known only to us, is a kind of self preservation or defence system we tend to build when there is doubt. Human have been conditioned by various systems of nurturing such that standards have been assumed and accepted. It is by these guidelines that people conduct themselves. Am not saying that this is not good. In fact many of them are necessary to members of communities. I think they are important at the lower level so as to inculcate good conduct. When this is achieved the spirit can move on without fear or doubts etc.
Many people have "secrets" of moments of indiscretion. There can be many reasons for this. As such it would be better to learn from it.
How do we know we are there?
We would know that we are there when we feel that we could just "melt into one another". I don't know how else to say this but I reckon this is the feeling we get when the spirits entwine and merge into one. It manifests physically into every action of partners.
Question: Is true love exclusive?
Now I have given a lot of thought to this. At this juncture I am inclined to believe that it is because I believe true love is all consuming........hence the saying..."one true love".
Nah.....my 2 sens!

True love...
IMHO, there is a difference between pure, unconditional love versus romantic love.
