Investigat the issue before you come here to comment ok?

Tawi River

Tawi is a river that flows through the city of Jammu. As is the norm in India, this river is considered sacred.

Tawi river is a major left bank tributary of river Chenab. The river originates from the lapse of Kali Kundi glacier and adjoining area south-west of Bhadarwah in Doda District. Tawi river catchment is delinated by latitude 320 35' -330 5' N and longitude 740 35' - 750 45' E. The catchment area of the river up to Indian border (Jammu) is 2168 km², and falls within the districts of Jammu, Udhampur and a small part of Doda. Elevation in the catchment varies between 400-4000 m and total length of the river is about 141 km. The river in general flows through steep hills on either side excepting the lower reach for about 35 km. width of the river at Jammu is about 300 m at the bridge site.

As with most of the rivers flowing through cities, this river enters the city of Jammu crystal clean and comes out dirty.

bagi org hindu sungai gangga itu adalah suci, tapi kenapa kerajaan india tidak pelihara sungai tuh dari kebersihannya, kalau tgk sungai tu, alahai, terlalu kotor, dgn sampah sarap dan mayat2 reput terabung, dgn burung hering memakan mayat, dan berbau busuk, jadik tak elok laa sungai yg suci dibiarkan kotor, tempat yg suci harus dijaga kebersihanya...

aper yg menyebabkan sungai tuh jadik suci..

Itulah akibatnya bila India dikuasai mereka yg tak ada fahaman agama - Liberal dan Atheists. Mereka tidak perdulikan akan tempat2 suci Hindusm tetapi sibuk sangat cium buntut kaum dr agama lain. :@

Sacred because it was created by GOD. In fact all rivers should be treated as sacred. They are life giving source for all living beings on earth. No water no life laa... May be you do not understand that because your religious text to not explain about the rivers and that is why the rivers in Malaysia is polluted to the core.

tak menjawab soalan la. Jawapan too general.

Kalo sungai gangga tu suci, kenapa mayat dicampak ke dlmnya sampai tercemar?

We Hindus honor or pay homage to five sacred elements laa...We call them pancha bhootam. AIR, EARTH, WATER, FIRE and VOID.  Without these five elements no life form. learn to respect and understand. I wonder what your religion says about them.....
