try reading Susan Elizabeth Phillips nyer books... Heaps better than Judith Mc Naught. Sandra Brown not bad either..

Tho' JMcN nyer books are memorable la... Especially like reading and re-eading 'Perfect'

ye JMcN nih mmg lebut gaya bahasanya... menonjolkan keistimewaan watak2 yg digambarkan sedemikian rupa, hingga kita boleh bayangkan rupa heronya..

p/s : apasal kalu hero JM nih sara selalu terbayangkan Richard Gere?  dan kalu heroinnya pulak sara bayangkan Keira Nightly :lol

Tapi kalu buku I love Paradise(JM) and Mr Perfect (LH).

how come some of her books biler kiter baca hero/heroinnyer mcm wujud, mcm betol2x ader.  I tak taulah readers yg lain mcmaner, tapi biler I baca Paradise and Double Standard (JM jugak), I feel like these couples mcm ader.

tapi buku2x JM yg lain, tak pulak camtu......:hmm:

btho, maybe sebab watak-watak tu dalam modern romance, so kita boleh relate to ourselves the environment, people, culture, relationships, etc..

we feel connected and the characters come alive because we know they are living in the same era as we are..

kalau historical romance tu, lambat sikit nak connect sebab zaman kita takde lagi kut :cak: yelah, masa tu kan zaman orang naik carriage, zaman org perempuan pakai skirt labuh kembang..
