Check out Hilary Duff sporting a new look with John Cusack on the set of their new futuristic film, Brand Hauser: Stuff Happens (previously titled War, Inc.). In the film that was written and produced by him, Cusack plays a hit man who is hired to kill a Middle Eastern oil minister. His cover is acting as a wedding planner for a local pop star. We're guessing that Hil is that pop star. Guess this role isn't a huge stretch for her.

Hilary's Stalker Threatens to Kill

Poor Hilary has been fearing for her life. She and Joel had requested a restraining order against an alleged stalker last month and now word is they have arrested him. TMZ reports that the 18-year-old man was arrested on Friday for making criminal threats and stalking Hilary. Apparently the man said he was planning to kill Hilary at an event on Sunday, and the man is now being held on $200,000 bail. Hopefully Ms Duff is now safe.

Hilary Duff's alleged 18-year-old stalker has been arrested and sources tell TMZ the bust occurred after the man threatened to kill Duff this weekend.

Manhattan Beach cops arrested Maksim Miakovsky, an 18-year-old Russian emigre, at a Residence Inn last Friday. He was booked on charges of making criminal threats and stalking.

TMZ first reported last month that Duff and her boyfriend, Joel Madden, were terrified that Miakovsky would do harm to them. Duff and Madden asked for a restraining order, alleging that Miakovsky "has stated his intention of 'removing' his 'enemies' (i.e., those who prevent him from being with her), has stated his intention of purchasing a weapon, and has threatened to kill himself and to engage in dramatic actions to get her attention."

Sources tell TMZ that last Friday, a private investigator from Sunset Protective Services contacted Miakovsky at the Residence Inn and Miakovsky stated his intention of killing Duff on Sunday at an event she was scheduled to attend.

According to legal papers filed by Duff, Miakovsky came to the U.S. "for the sole purpose of meeting and becoming romantically involved with Ms. Duff."

Miakovsky is currently being held on $200,000 bail at the Manhattan Beach jail. He's scheduled to be arraigned on Tuesday.

Hilary Duff has fallen in love with Bulgaria - thanks to the quality fruit and vegetables on offer.Duff, who is currently filming in the Eastern European country with John Cusak, was impressed by the Bulgarians' attitude towards fresh organic food.

She says, "They really love salads!"I like it a lot because, since Bulgaria doesn't use pesticides, their vegetables are super fresh.

"In America, an apple can last a week because of preservatives and pesticides, but in Bulgaria, after a day or two, it will be old."
