Chocolate is arguably the most popular sweet food on the planet. Chocolate, whether in the form of a bar, a chocolate snack, a cup of hot chocolate, or a chocolate cookie, has become an integral part of our everyday life. Our present trend toward increased food awareness has had an impact on chocolate manufacturing, with the result that it is progressively evolving away from being a mass commodity and becoming, in some cases, a special piece of workmanship. Many manufacturers are reinvesting in their products with a renewed focus on quality and attention to detail. This is represented not only in the chocolate's excellent flavour, but also in the package design, ensuring that its superior quality is instantly apparent.

Fine chocolate cardboard boxes, embossing, holograms, and foil printing are all elements that may elevate each package to a high-end luxury item. Color combinations, abstract patterns and forms, sketches, photos, and unique writing evoke artworks more than typical food packaging.

Packaging Suggested For Dry Chocolates:
The wrapper that covers a bar of chocolate, however, must be both attractive and useful. Chocolate is a delicate commodity that must be kept against frost, heat, damage, and flavour loss. Traditional chocolate packaging consists of a flavor-preserving inner layer – such as aluminium foil or coated paper – and an exterior layer, which is often cardboard or paper. Furthermore, business and research institutes have spent time and effort inventing heat-resistant packaging, such as metal-lined cardboard that works similarly to insulating bags for frozen food.

ABANDONING THE STANDARD
Who says chocolate has always be packaged in rectangular or square boxes? A hypothetical chocolate box named Meteor, developed by the Custom Box Makers in collaboration with the specialty paper company Sappi and shown to the professional audience as a prototype, is one of the most odd products. As a consequence, a polygon may go through the same automatic processing as a square package — without the need for any costly human steps or sacrificing unique improvements. Despite its odd form, the package may be placed upright, just like a conventional box, and then filled and sold in a variety of amounts and at varying speeds.

It's a fantastic example of how packaging can attract attention – and even win awards, as the makers just received the Paperlinx Deutschland Award for package printers of the year. Also they check out these custom designed packaging that can make your chocolate more appealing.

I'm interested in what you say about the packaging because even the chocolate that I buy from following website uses the same packaging that you mention, I think that what happens with all this marketing is that little by little we have advanced to the point that the flavor does matter but it is more important to attract the attention of the buyer to have a safe sale.
