Pengumuman BKSS 5.0 oleh YAB Ketua Menteri Sarawak

KUCHING: Kerajaan Sarawak mengumumkan Pakej Bantuan Khas Sarawakku Sayang (BKSS) 6.0 bagi membantu rakyat dalam meneruskan kelangsungan hidup susulan pelaksanaan Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan (PKP) yang berkuat kuasa esok hingga 11 Jun ini.
Ketua Menteri Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg berkata ia merangkumi 15 langkah yang telah diputuskan kerajaan negeri dengan perbelanjaan RM1.4 bilion.
Jelasnya ia melibatkan sembilan langkah pembayaran tunai dan enam langkah pemberian diskaun.
BKSS 6.0 akan memperuntukkan insentif kepada ketua isi rumah, golongan B40, petugas barisan hadapan, petugas media, pengusaha perkhidmatan pengangkutan, peniaga, pemain industri pelancongan.
"Antara pemberian diskaun membabitkan bil utiliti, sewa premis perniagaan, pengecualian sewa perumahan dan penyediaan bakul makanan," katanya pada sidang media khas di Wisma Bapa Malaysia Kuching pada Jumaat.
Kerajaan Sarawak sebelum ini telah melaksanakan lima Pakej Bantuan Khas Sarawakku Sayang (BKSS) yang bernilai lebih daripada RM3.1 bilion telah sedikit sebanyak mengurangkan beban rakyat.

15 measures under BKSS 6.0 worth RM1.4 bln to benefit Sarawakians, says CM

KUCHING (May 28): The Sarawak government has unveiled the Bantuan Khas Sarawakku Sayang (BKSS) 6.0 totalling RM1.4 billion to benefit Sarawakians of various sectors through 15 measures amid the current fight against Covid-19.
Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg announced the financial support packages during a press conference at his office at Wisma Bapa Malaysia here today.
The BKSS 6.0 was launched in line with a new round of Movement Control Order (MCO), which will be enforced from May 29 to June 11 as well as the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) being enforced to curb the spread of the pandemic.
“The BKSS 6.0 I’m announcing today encompasses 15 measures which have been decided by the Sarawak government to continue our financial assistance to the people as a result of the implementation of MCO and CMCO.
“Nine of the measures involve cash payouts and the remaining six measures involve discount incentives,” he said.
