Penyerang muda JDT, Muhammad Syafiq Ahmad, 25, terlibat dalam kemalangan yang mengorbankan bayi lelakinya berusia 22 hari dalam kejadian di Lebuh Raya Utara Selatan, Sungai Bakap di sini awal pagi tadi.
Dalam kejadian melibatkan sebuah kereta jenis Toyota Vellfire berwarna hitam itu, turut maut ialah wanita warga tempatan Zainab Wahab, 45, dan warga Indonesia Titik Sukamti, 30-an.

JDT striker Syafiq Ahmad hurt, infant son killed in Penang crash

NIBONG TEBAL: Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) striker, Muhammad Syafiq Ahmad, 25, was involved in an accident which killed his 22-day-old son at the North South Expressway (NSE) here, this morning.
The incident, involving a black Toyota Vellfire, also claimed the lives of Syafiq's mother-in-law Zainab Wahab, 45, and Indonesian Titik Sukamti, in her 30s.
Syafiq and his daughter, Aaira Nur Saffiyya, 2, escaped with minor injuries; while his wife, Nur Amalina Nur Ain, 25, was seriously injured.
Images of Syafiq's damaged Vellfire surfaced on social media, alongside a photo of Syafiq in tears, holding his dead son.

The driver of the badly-damaged Vellfire is believed to have lost control of the vehicle, which skidded and rammed the guardrail.
According to a spokesman from the state Fire and Rescue Department, they received a call at about 5.35am, and arrived at the scene 10 minutes later.
"There were six victims, three were saved, while three others were pinned inside the vehicle.
"Fire-fighters, in full PPE, removed those trapped inside the vehicle using special tools," he said.
According to the spokesman, they managed to extricate the victims from the damaged vehicle at 6.10am.
"Three of them were confirmed dead by paramedics at the scene and were surrendered to the police for further action," he added.
The operation ended at 6.12am.

Baca dekat twitter ada yg komen ckp dia bawa slow jer tp sebab mengelak sesuatu jd terbabas, semoga org yg jadi punca dpt pengajaran..
Tapi tgk kereta kalau slow takkan la sampai gitu teruknya. Mcm dia terlelap skit nie... |

well... vellfire kan..
tak pernah jumpa driver vellfire and seangkatannya yang bijak cermat bertimbangrasa ikut peraturan kat jalanraya..
maklum la kereta besar mahal import walaupun seken..
apa barang nak jalan sebelah or belakang kereta murah lokal kan..
tapi sebab orang terkenal, maka nya tak ada la carutan selayaknya pada beliau..
takziah saja la ye..
