for me what important is that the gameplay.. of course graphic is important to but if the game suck or replay value low.. i rather buy less graphic console.. but good replay value games...  the games make the console look good..

emm, If me la i choose X Box than PS2,

the reason when some Ps2 game resolute with 640*320 (640*480 is for real aspect ratio). Perhaps X box & Ps3 satissfied me,

game sket jer yang best... takkan nak ulang 60,70 kali game tu jer..

aku sokong X box memang grafik mengancam jantung tapi kebanyakkan game diorang terlalu banyak keomputihan... aku lebih suka Anime Jap.. okey sometime tu main gak game keomputihan sebab aku tak faham bahasa Jap.
kalu aku faham bahasa Jap udah tak der la nak nunggu kuar bahasa english punya..

PS3 or XBOX2?? itu bior 2005 dtg dulu..

xbox is not an old people games.... it is just typical american games........
so the best way to describe this is
ps2 for japanese things
gamecube for party people
xbox for the doa and the microsoft games things........ senang cerita for complete 3d fans.........

X-Box wins on:
Graphics
Hardisk
Faster CPU
More RAM
Better Sound (i think, me not much of an audiophile)

PS2 wins on:
More games/3rd party support <--- very important factor
Better joypad (Xbox pad SUCKS)
Better online support (if you are in Australia/USA)
Cheaper

Overall: I say go PS2.

Besides, Xbox pirated DVD's available in Malaysia meh?

Yes Xbox pirate games are available. Malaysia = gaming heaven. hehe.
I own a PS2.
I have to say Xbox has better graphics than PS2. I compared Splinter Cell on both machine.
However PS2 has the best collection of games.
Both controller are fine but Xbox has 2 hard to reach buttons which is the black and white button. Nevertheless PS2 has it as well, the Select and Start button however it isn't used as often. So i prefer PS2 controller.

my pick goes to ps2..how can i pick xbox since i don't even own it??

I personaly dont give a crud about GFX, its all about games when it comes to consoles, where you com plaining about GFX on the PS1, and sega and the atari? I bet you all played them because the games are fun! its not like where designing 3d   obejects and shit, so GFX dont really matter, what matters is how cool the games are, and soo far, the coolest games, are on PS2 (thats only because im into RPG, like FFX and FFX-2 and kingdom hearts and unlimited saga and .hack// ect.) but yea, What really matters people? how good it looks, or how much fun it is playing it?

Without the graphics,do you think games like FFX will be what it is today? Without the visuals,do you think FFX will be just as immersive or fun to play? Why do you think SquareSoft puts so much importance on the visual aspect of their creation,if they thought ONLY gameplay mattered?

BOTH.Gameplay + Graphics = MORE fun game.  
Graphics accentuates gameplay.A great game should be balanced on all aspects.
