2017 has been a long, weird year, and if you’re like me, you wrote a whole whack of stuffs over the course of it.

Forum, blogs, fiction, journal, diary, thesis, articles, anything... So here’s a bunch of questions to ask about that:

1. What’s your personal favourite thing you wrote last year?
I wrote a story about autumn/fall.

2. What’s your least favourite thing you wrote last year?
I wrote about God and religion in my personal journal. I regret it.

3. Which of your writings was most different from what you usually write?
I usually write about love and life. But, last year I tried to write a story about kids. And I regret it.

None of them because I don't publish my writings. It's for my personal reading.

I would like to finish my story about autumn/fall.

I need to finish my story. But I don't have enough time to do that since I'm working. 24 hours a day is not enough I must say.

A book about trauma. I published two scientific articles in behavioural studies.

An unfinished manuscript about social issues.

Senses.

Getting published is successful enough for me.

The scholar one I must say.

Personal heartache. dont wish to write it, but sometimes people need to know the situation that we are in.

Reports about my students.

My son's funny stories.

the one that is in my mind, but havent write it down yet. lol

'we are in this together, not others. people can condemn, but they dont live our lives'

What’s your favourite piece of description or narration?
Some people survive and talk about it. Some people survive and go silent. Some people survive and create. Everyone deals with unimaginable pain in their own way, and everyone is entitled to that, without judgement. So the next time you look at someone’s life covetously, remember…you may not want to endure what they are enduring right now, at this moment, whilst they sit so quietly before you, looking like a calm ocean on a sunny day. Remember how vast the ocean’s boundaries are. Whilst somewhere the water is calm, in another place in the very same ocean, there is a colossal storm.

those damn reports

What, if anything, are you going to try to do differently in your writing for this year?
I have an idea for a 'romance novel', but the story is just wrong in so many ways. not sure if i can muster courage to finish it by this year.

some poems, i wrote about my friends and my family, my dreams, horror stories.

2. What’s your least favourite thing you wrote last year?
actually my favorite thing of writing is the percolation phase.when you have an idea just sitting on the back burner and suddenly it comes together when you are doing something else.everything after that is just work. having a scene i'm excited to write about.

3. Which of your writings was most different from what you usually write?
i tried wrote a poem, and the whole focus there was on brilliant word choices, striking metaphors and the ability to get me to see something in a new way.it's boring. just regret about it.

4. Which of your writings last year was most successful?
none.i just write what i wanted to write.i write what amuses me.it's totally for myself.that is how i spent my time.

5. Which of your writings do you wish was more successful?
none.

6. What’s your favourite piece of dialogue you wrote last year?
"it's much better to save up for something than to buy it on credit."

7. What’s your favourite piece of description or narration?
'some years ago - never mind how long precisely - having little or no money in my purse, and nothing particular to interest me on shore, i thought i would sail about a little and see the watery part of the world.'-ishmael, Moby Dick.

8. Which writing last year was most fun to write?
horror.because no one wants to talk about it.because fear and the things that cause fear stem from the darkest place in the human psyche, and our earliest instincts and we cannot admit to our fears.that was fun to write about it last year.

9. If you could go back and change something about one of the stuffs you wrote last year, what would it be?
i would like to finish my story about the third psychopath.

10. What, if anything, are you going to try to do differently in your writing for this year?
this year i want to write about crime.the fun, violent, gunfighty type.to me, there is nothing more fun than writing a scene that builds and builds and builds until the tension snaps and everybody shoots each other.
