Video footage shows car going against traffic on Butterworth highway

BUTTERWORTH: A video of a car going against the flow of traffic on the Butterworth-Kulim Expressway (BKE) has gone viral on social media.
The 40-second clip, recorded by a motorist, shows a silver sedan being driven against traffic while avoiding oncoming cars.
It is believed that the incident occurred at about 10.30pm on Thursday at KM2.7 of the BKE after the driver somehow entered the expressway through the Sungai Nyior toll plaza in the wrong direction. The car was driven until Seberang Jaya.
Nobody was reported to have been injured in the incident.
On Thursday morning, video footage of a car going against traffic near the Kulai rest area was also widely circulated.
The car was being driven on the wrong side of the road at the KM34 (northbound) on the North-South Expressway.
