Butir Nangka, Bubur Wajib Bulan Ramadan

Manisan ini memang popular ketika musim Ramadan, rasanya yang manis dan kenyal-kenyal sangat mengasyikkan.




Namun, kadang kala sukar nak jumpa menu yang dipanggil butir nangka ini di bazar. Bukan semua tempat ada menjualnya.




Jadi apa kata anda sediakan sendiri. Jangan risau, ia tidak sesukar mana pun. Jangan lupa tambah hirisan nangka sebenar dalam kuah bubur tersebut. Pasti lebih umph!





Bahan-bahan untuk butir:
Tepung pulut
Pewarna kesukaan
Secubit garam halus
Air secukupnya untuk menguli dan merebus butir nangka

Bahan-bahan untuk kuah:
500 ml santan
Gula secukupnya
1 sudu besar halba
Sedikit garam
2 helai daun pandan
3-4 ulas buah nangka yang telah masak-hiris ikut  
3 sudu besar biji sagu

Cara-cara penyediaan:
Tepung pulut diuli dengan air yang telah dibancuh dengan garam dan pewarna pilihan. Masukkan air sedikit demi sedikit sambil menguli hingga mendapat doh yang tidak melekat di tangan.


Panaskan air di dalam periuk. Di samping itu, sediakan satu mangkuk berisi air biasa. Apabila air mendidih, gentel doh tadi menjadi bebola-bebola lonjong dan masukkan ke dalam periuk.


Apabila masak, doh tersebut akan timbul. Cedok keluar doh yang timbul dan masukkan ke dalam mangkuk lain yang berisi air yang disediakan tadi. Buat hingga habis kesemua doh direbus.


Untuk kuahnya, masak santan bersama gula, garam dan daun pandan di dalam periuk. Sekiranya menggunakan gula Melaka, dinasihati agar masak dulu gula Melaka bersama sedikit air hingga gula larut. Kemudian tapis sebelum menggunakannya.


Apabila mendidih, kecilkan api dan masukkan butir-butir nangka tadi, buah nangka yang teah dihiris serta biji sagu. Rasakan manis bubur mengikut citarasa anda. Tutup api. - CARI Infonet
