AMD Readies Two Unlocked A-Series APUs
In the fourth quarter of 2011, AMD will unveil new A-Series APUs in the socket FM1 package, these include not one (as reported back in July), but two models that come with unlocked base clock multipliers. Unlocked multipliers made overclocking significantly easier. While AMD won't use the "Black Edition" moniker, it will use the "K" extension. Incidentally, "K" stands for "black" in the CMYK colour model.
AMD's unlocked APUs include the A8-3870K and the A6-3670K, which are 100 MHz faster than the A8-3850 and A6-3650, respectively. With its four x86-64 cores clocked at 3.00 GHz, the A8-3870K features 400 stream processors running at 600 MHz on its Radeon GPU component, while the A6-3670K CPU cores are clocked at 2.70 GHz, and the chip has 320 stream processors running at 444 MHz. The two chips, however, will not feature TurboCore technology for the CPU cores.

2.7ghz, dah cukup utk aplikasi biasa... cumanya dlm benchmark tu x menyerlah sbb dia compete dgn proc yg lbh laju..
hexacore menyerlah dlm aplikasi yg heavily multithreaded.. stakat yg multithread biasa2 pong x nampak advantage..
kbykn aplikasi harian x guna lbh dr 4 thread.. so of course quad with higher speed akn beat dia hands down..
jd kalu skrg dia guna quad 955/965.. xde point nak tukar ke 1045T..

aku sbenarnya nak fokus pada 2nd graf tu, CPU value dia letak 0.00 naya je.
sebab aku kenan tu bukan utk enjoy, tapi utk amik advantage atas mobo aku ni je.
lagi satu, mmg nak guna yg watt rendah, tu pasal aku tak compare dgn yg 3GHz keatas.
for info, skrg ni aku ada 2 pc.
1 Intel Quad Q8300 (mobo asus p5g41c-m lx)
1 lagi AM2 7750BE mobo ECS (yg tepek atas ni la)
pastu aku ada 1 phenom 9550. aku cdg nak ganti 7750BE tu dgn 9550 ni sbb nak jimat letrik.
Quad 8300 tu pun nak jual nk pakai APU A6 je. atau apa2 je yg low voltage. tapi bila tengok AM3 1045T ni aku berminat la. tu pasal aku wat research sikit ni.
pasal power tu aku tak kesah sgt, jarang main game pun... |

q8300 tdp 95w.. sama cam 1045T..x2 7750BE pong 95w.. 9550 sama ada 125w/ 145w..
imo kalu nak target low power.. yg nak kene buang 7750 sama 9550..
q8300 @ 2.5ghz consume less power compared to 9550 @ 2.2ghz..
lower power draw, q8300 performs better than 9550..
pasal apu tu... yg tu kompom low power draw..{:4_240:}
*q8300 kalu betul nak let go... sila pm best price hokkay... |
