The England wideman picked up a knock during the victory at Birminghamand is set to be the eighth player to miss the second leg of theCarling Cup semi final on Wednesday.
Asthe Blues prepare for game at Goodison Park against Everton, Grant willwill be without Wright-Phillips, Frank Lampard, Andriy Shevechenko andJohn Terry through injury.
"This season, every player that is in good condition gets injured," the Israeli manager explained.
"Shaunwas one of our best players in the last two weeks. He played out ofposition because we needed it and I hope he will get better soonbecause now we are really short as a squad."
Joe Cole is stillplaying despite picking up a muscle injury in recent weeks and he couldbe ready to play through the pain in midweek too.
"I didn'ttrain all week," he said. "I've been carrying a little bit of a nigglebut we haven't got many players at the moment so we all need to bethere."
Chelsea are also without Didier Drogba, Salomon Kalou,Michael Essien and John Obi Mikel, who are all appearing in the AfricaCup of Nations.
