hehehe.......tak adanya nak compare.
selalu jugak buat booking dengan no passport yang lama dan xpired.
masa nak buat web check in, kita kena isi balik segala detail.
jadi tak ada cerita nak compare atau tak boleh tukar.

petua travel dengan tiket airasia...............beli lugej di saat akhir.
contohnya sehari sebelum.....lebih selamat.

AirAsia X drops Maldives, continues Sri Lanka flights

                                Jan 11, 2014 (LBO) - Malaysia-based AirAsia X, a long haul budget carrier said it will stop flying to Maldives from next month, but will continue flights to Sri Lanka four times a week.

AirAsia X said it was halting Male flights due to "challenging business conditions".

"The decision to withdraw from Male was a difficult one, but was made taking into account our business imperative to build sustainable and profitable routes," Azran Osman-Rani, chief executive of AirAsia X said.

"Despite our efforts, external factors such as the depreciation of Asian currencies against the US dollar and the chronic lack of hotel room supply in Maldives resulted in cancellation of thousands of bookings by travel operators."

The airline said the suspension of flights to Male will improve efficiencies and allow capacity to be concentrated on key markets in Australia, China, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Nepal and Sri Lanka.

Last week, Tigerair, a budget carrier controlled by state-run Singapore Airlines began flights to the Maldives.Tigerair is making losses, while AirAsia is profitable.

NAK TANYA YG LBIH ARIF KT SNI, INI TERTAKLUK PADA YG ABIK INSURAN SHJ KE?

FLIGHT CANCELLED
NO REFUND - YOU LOOSE YOUR MONEY
KEEP THIS IN MIND BEFORE YOU BUY AN AIR ASIA TICKET

When AirAsia cancellation your flight they now only give you 2 options;

"We always do our best to adhere to the published schedule. We are fully aware that reschedules / cancellations not only disrupt our guests' travel plans, it affects our on time performance too. However, just like any other airline, sometimes flights are cancelled for various reasons, which include inclement weather. In the event cancellation is unavoidable, guests can either:
(1) catch the next available flight without additional charges; or

(2) retain the value of the fare as credit shell where you can utilize the value within the next 3 months to book for flights within AirAsia’s travel calendar"

The third option of a refund has been removed.

However they have made this announcement:

"Effective 9th August, all refund requests must be submitted via an online e-form. Walk-in requests will not be processed.

Guests will no longer be able to request refunds via service centres, sales offices and Guest Services."

If they cancel your flight they will sent you an email like this:

"Dear Valued Guest,

AirAsia would like to advise that our flight QZ 7911, scheduled from Denpasar to Bandung on 15thFebruary 2014, has unfortunately been cancelled due to Kelud Mountain eruption.

In order to mitigate the inconveniences caused by the flight canceled, AirAsia offers the following recovery options:

1. Move flight (reschedule) 5 days after your original departure date based on availability and first-come-first-serve basis;

2. Credit Shell – Cancel the flight and fare value of the flight can be retained in a credit shell with AirAsia for future travel. Credit Shell is valid for 90 days from the date of issue;

Should you require further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us at our support channels listed below:

1. Submit queries through online form athttp://www.airasia.com/id/en/e-form.page

2. AirAsia viawww.airasia.com/ask

3. Live Chat (available through Ask AirAsia after you login using your AirAsia member ID)

We apologies for the inconvenience caused and we will try our best to improve our service continually to meet with your satisfaction.

Yours sincerely,

AirAsia"

However when you try to fill out the e-form it gives you only the option of a refund. Option (1) Reschedule and (2) Credit Shell do not exist.

They suggest you try LIVE CHAT, good luck is all we can say.

From the above one can see the wicked runaround web AirAsia weaves on order to NOT give you any compensation for any cancelled flight.
