IT was literally a million dollar wedding. The union between TVB stars Kenix Kwok Hor-Ying, 33, and Frankie Lam Mun-Long, 36, on Wednesday cost the couple HK$1 million ($227,000).
But when the bride is an A-list actress and the groom is a leading man, does money really matter?
Especially since, at the command of your dollar, you can transform your gala wedding dinner into a winter wonderland, complete with roses, crystal and bridesmaids dressed in custom-made gowns in cotton-candy colours.
The couple threw a wedding dinner for more than 400 guests, a private affair closed to the media.
The bride - whose diamond ring alone cost HK$500,000 - was radiant in a gown that featured all the colours worn by her bridesmaids, while he was dashing in his crisp silk suit.
The Hotel InterContinental Hong Kong, situated in Tsim Sha Tsui, was dressed up in red, white and green.
The stairway leading to the hotel's ballroom was especially opulent - lengths of white silk were draped along the marble railings, generously dotted with blood-red roses and impossibly-green leaves.
Crystal beads hung down from candle stands, while lit candles of different heights adorned the entrance.
Grand to some, but others missed the message.

dah diiklankan kat TV2...dalam TV Guide hari ni pun tulis Whatever It Takes...

Thanks whitedove for this. Memang dah diiklankan dalam newspaper tapi nasib baik whitedove revive-kan thread HK Drama @ TV2 ni. Kalau banyak2 thread pun, nanti buat keliru je. As long as the tajuk/topik thread jelas & tepat, dah memadai. :ah:
Harap2 cerita baru ni dapat 'memeriahkan/mengapi2kan' thread ni semula sebagaimana kisah Ah Thong dulu. Ada harapan tak? :hmm: |
