Aku rasa ko salah sinopsis ni... Dia bukang ditransport tapi 'difotocopy' satu kat Marikh... Jasad asal dia kekal kat Bumi jer...
Bagi aku secara keseluruhangnya cerita ni agak bagos walaupong tahap kutipang tiketnya maseh dalam tahap 'rugi'... Aku langsong tak rasa rugi tengok... Cerita ni memang direkemang kepada mereka yang minat cerita aksi lawan pedang dan sedikit fiksyeng...

Korang kena faham novel John Carter ni ditulis tahun berapa.
Tahun 1917-1918 kot.
Novel ni novel yang pertama kot untuk genre sains feksyen yang ditulis pada awal abad ke-20.
Zaman ni, The Lords Of The Ring pun belum ada lagi, The Hobbit pun belum ada lagi, apatah lagi Harry Porter, Star Wars pun belum ada, Wizard of Oz pun belum ada, jadi, zaman tu memanglah skripnya kurang berimaginasi sedikit, jadi tak banyaklah plotnya, raksasanya, makhluk anehnya, sebab zaman ni orang Barat belum boleh terima konsep sains fiksyen lagi...
Disney nak kekalkan idea asal novel tu, jadi macam ni ajerlah ceritanya, tak kompleks sangat, biasa-biasa ajer (walaupun modal sama taraf dengan Avatar).
Malah, aku rasa pihak Disney boleh jimat 100Juta USD kalau tak teridikan filem ni, tak banyak pun efek teridi yang diorang pakai untuk filem ni.
Siapa-siapa yang minat filem Prince of Persia macam aku bolehlah layan filem-filem macam ni.
Tapi aku masih tak boleh nak terima gaya pengarah filem ni buat lawak, macam lain daripada yang lain, melawan arus, dulu dia arahkan Wall-E okay ajer, bila suruh arah manusia jadi lain macam lawaknya, tak pernah dibuat orang... aku tahu dia nak buat lawak, tapi lawaknya tak berapa common, jarang jumpa lawak-lawak macam ni, tapi bagus jugak sekurang-kurangnya pengarah filem ini ada gaya tersendiri untuk buat babak lawak... kiranya lepas ni aku boleh tahu siapa pengarah filem tu berdasarkan hanya tengok babak buat lawak ajer... |

John Carter led the overseas box office for the second weekend in a row, but the mega-budget sci-fi epic appears to be fading fast. It added an estimated $40.7 million from 54 markets for a total of $126.1 million. That inclues an estimated $10.4 million debut in China, which is Disney's second-highest opening ever there behind Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.
When removing China from the weekend tally, though,John Carter fell a rough 57 percent in holdover markets. It continued to play well in Russia, where it held first place with $6.6 million, and it declined a light 19 percent to $2.8 million in Mexico. Adding in its domestic gross, John Carter has now made just over $180 million. That's not nearly enough to cover its outrageous expense, though—on Monday, Disney issued a brief press release indicating thatJohn Carter's poor performance would generate a $200 million operating loss in the second quarter of 2012. |

jalan cerita not bad, randomly chose to watch this movie without knowing what it was about...
and its that gambit guy from wolverine...
some part that paham sangat pasal; the therns, somehow reminded me of the fringe's the observer but these characters are more on the darker side... maybe agaknya they compressed all the books series into one movie... so some things are not explained clearly...

Nasib baik ceta ni anak enjoy tgk,, boleh gado dgn my daughter nak tgk ceta ni sbb awalnya dia nak tgk hunger game.
