NEWS Winter Party Diamond Concert Report (090112, Osaka)
So. Starting from the very beginning…
Intro video that was directed by Tackey
Thereare some group shots of them moving through this really nice whitehouse (I guess in Australia?) in those white suits with the red scarves.
Whenit comes to the individual intro shots, here’s the order: Ryo (with hisgoofy ‘I’m cute you have to love me’ smile), Koyama, Shige, Massu (byfar my favorite cause he was stuffing his face with a cupcake and looked absolutely thrilled about it), Tegoshi, and Yamapi.
Becauseit was the final concert in the entire tour, it said it at the very endof the video (white letters on black background) “FINAL”.
I’m sure many of you have seen the stage design either on Johnny’s Countdown or the first group live photosets, but Happy Birthday starts playing and the large diamond opens up to reveal the members of NEWS.
So they performed Happy Birthday, Weeeek, Gan Gan Ganbatte, Hadashi no Cinderella Boy (I cried I was so happy) and then Summer Time.
Ihad never really listened to Gan Gan Ganbatte before, but I must say,although the song title is kinda funny, I really like the chorus tothis song.
Haha…
