syafinaz ada nyanyi satu lagu patriotik kat RTM...selalu gak kuar kat tv...power habis bg aku...lupa lak tajuk lagu tu...nyanyi ala2 soprano...kalau IL boleh komen bagus gak... |

here's one example of Jac hitting a C6 (in falsetto), her highest note so far. Ni masa perform gemilang utk AJL20(bukan encore tu):

however C6 nie tak secantik C6 dia masa M'sian Idol finale tu. yg masa tu mmg perfect gila dan meremang aku dgr part tu. very high walaupun belum masuk whistle register lagi.personally aku rasa dgn sedikit training mcm idayu, jac bleh mencapai whistle register.
ni plak is an A5 (in falsetto) from Jac. sama performance dgn clip tadi:
Jaclyn Victor - A5 - Gemilang
maybe some ppl would say takde perbezaan pun yg C6 dgn A5 tu tapi actually yg C6 tu lebih "lighter/ringan" kalo dgr betul2 berbanding the A5 dan the C6 tu cam ada "unsur" whistling.
personally, aku rasa Jac's vocal range is abt 2.5 octaves.
i'm thinking (and based on my personal observation):
Voice Type: Lyric Soprano (sbb her natural Timbre and Weight of her voice is very Light and Feminine)
Highest Note: C6 (in Falsetto) - Various Gemilang performances and other studio recordings in her album, F5/G5 (in Chest Voice) - Various Gemilang performances, not sure abt her songs in the album sbb aku cuma ada tape-nya.
Lowest Note: Around a D3/E3.
Vocal Range: 2.5 octaves approximately.
Longest Note: 13 seconds for Gemilang studio version, 8 seconds for Gemilang live performance - both occurred during the climax of Gemilang bila lagu tu nak habis.
and aku nak komen skit psl Jac's voice. aku rasa it's starting to deteriorate. maybe perasaan aku je kot.hehe.
ps-post lah lagi note2 tinggi jac kalo sesapa ada or note2 rendah dia.. |

nak dgr tak suara dia masa dia hit low notes dlm bring out the best in me?...nak tau gak what note..but i think dlm third octave la..

yg website greatest voices tu bukannya bleh percaya sgt.hehe. i mean bukannya aku nak bias or belagak or anything tapi website tu sendiri ckp dia ambik sumber2 dia drpd wikipedia dan wikipedia says that stuff like that hasn't been verified from reliable sources. cuba pegi wikipedia dan check bhgn whistle register singers pastu tgk some of the singers haven't been confirmed tapi wikipedia kan boleh ditambah info sesuka hati by anyone or dipotong. tu yg wikipedia xleh dipercayai 100 peratus. aku sendiri ada baca org tanya psl reliability whistle register singers dan vocal range diorg (especially penyanyi barat) kt wikipedia dlm forum muse's music forum and the moderator kt sana ckp jgn percaya 100 percent sbb some of them are wrong and EXAGGERATED. pastu kan website greatest voices tu sebenarnya tak tau yg wikipedia main ambik je drpd ada website sorang budak pompuan nie (website tu dah takde) bertajuk Notes and Octaves. moderator kt Muse kata some parts of the vocal ranges are exaggerated/dilebihkan contohnya dulu rachelle ferrell's highest note ditulis sbg E7 dlm lagu It Only Took A Minute tapi sbnarnya D7 (tapi dah dibetulkan kt wikipedia dan greatest voices tu), one note lebih rendah drpd E7 lepas didgr berkali2 dan dibandingkan dgn other whistle notes. pastu nak confirmkan lagi, ada sorang forummer kt situ guna Grand Piano 88 keys (dia terer guna piano) utk pastikan note2 yg betul. yg budak pompuan kt website Notes and Octaves tu guna Musebook's Tuner utk kira high/low notes. Musebook's Tuner ni satu alat pengukur elektronik tak silap aku utk ukur notes and octaves. tapi it's not really reliable sbb Note yg dipaparkan kt Musebook tu bleh "throw-off" atau diganggu dan input note salah sbb of the surrounding environment/ external interferences/other noises bleh campur. contohnya, kita ukur satu lagu, let's say lagu Mariah - Emotions Live. katakanla the highest note she reaches is an E7 tapi disebabkan gangguan dari sekeliling masa dia capai that E7 - to be specific, gangguan drpd the drummer hitting the cymbals, the guitarist playing the guitar, the crowd screaming, mungkin Musebook akan "pick up" several notes higher from the E7, like maybe a C8. even angin bleh "throw-off" a note kalo it's in the clip. same kalo kite dgr clip2 lagu, contohnya the F5 from Celine Dion in All By Myself. bhgn tu ada drum dan violin kan? those external noises can throw-off the notes a bit higher sbb Musebook akan ambil kira the notes emanating/coming from the Violin and Drum (and also the voice of Celine). and kalo nak tau, Violin's create very high notes in the seventh octave. so ahli2 muzik kt forum tu ckp kt aku Musebook's Tuner nie x reliable sgt sbb tak tepat. kalo nak paling tepat, use the piano, esp. a grand piano 88 keys. atau a violin or piccolo or apa2 alat muzik yg bleh correspond dgn note yg ko nak tau. mcm aku, aku just tanya je terus kt forum tu. and also dgr byk clip2 suara, lagu,etc utk biasakan diri. the moderator there says biasakan diri mendgr notes by comparing and listening always.
so in the end, greatest voices tu tak bleh dipercayai sgt sbb dia main ambik je info2 tu drpd wikipedia which stole from website notes and octaves yg dah tak wujud lagi and notes and octaves isn't that reliable sbb bergantung kpd Musebook tuner dan bukan a piano. plus info2, wikipedia tu mcm tak tepat plak. contohnya, mana ada Rachelle Ferrell capai F7 and kalo ada pun lagu apa? lagu With Open Arms dia bukannya F7 tapi C#7 actually.pastu tukar2 lak info kadang2 tu aku tgk.x stick to their info.

aku x rasa la syafinaz tu blh C8 whisle dier. Aku penah dengo whisle dier skali, tp x la tinggi mcm C8. bunyi burung pon x der
Dan Jac memang sore x rendah langsung. i think, it's E3, tp biase la, kekadang kite dengo mcm rendah, tp hakikatnya x cukup rendah.
and irving, aku dah dengo compare dgn clip2 tu. i'm still not sure. tp rasenya mcm F5 keatas. Bunyi sore barbra memang sebijik mcm celine dlm all by myself. tp, rasenya sore Barbra mcm lbh tinggi skit. Org memang jarang bercakap pasal kehebatan sore Barbra ni. Iyerla, bg mereka aset sebenar barbra bkn die punye kekuatan vokal, tp kelunakan dan keunikan tone suara dia. Dan, Irving, for your imformation, barbra ni dulu pelakon broadway dan die pegang leading role, so x heranla kalo suara dia power utk tenggelamkan sore latar. And Irving, Regine nyanyi lagu tu, dia kene potong 3 kali baru part 19s tu |
