Hi Gemukkkk & sab_nyer
Kita tau CFA bukan accountingnyer qualification. Its a professional qualification for Investment/Financial analysts. Just tanya , curious nak tau between the 2 mana yg lagi best dari segi prospek kejer, renumeration including gaji, mkt demand for job, industry growth etc. Heard that CFA charterholders on average receive around 15k-40k a month (depending on level of experience ) . Maybe ada sesaper leh verify. |

well.. kalau nak income sebegitu dengan kelayakan cfa..

yg penting u nyer will power, kehendak utk belajar, utk succeed... masa keje fokus kat keje, bila masuk class, fokus kat pembelajaran tu....if u have the drive and the hunger, u will do everything u can to achieve ur target....
ACCA ni ada kuota utk kelulusan dia... work smart, study smart, time management is the key....
i have a colleague yg wat course ni part-time... mmg nampak cam tak cukup tidur and everything, but she persevered and dah dapat pun ACCA tu...
all the best to u putri....

Gem...
i think you're referring to another qualification related to I&I sales & portfolio management ,tak ingat dah apa dia..sesuai untuk sesiapa yg involved in selling insurance & Investment or in charge of customer financial portfolio contohnya personal bankers ..
Kalu tak silap Lana CFA is more on invesment/finance analysis with job propspect in corporate banking/ finance, investment/fund/asset management, finance or even consultancy & research areas ..etc ..(correct me if i'm wrong)
Salah satu sebab Lana tanya cos ada satu member tu dah buat ACCA level 1 tapi sekarang tgh contemplate nak amik CFA since ramai gak kengkawan dia yg ada accounting qualification /degree dah beralih arah buat CFA. Curious gak.
Btw, baper ya avg salary ACCA holder? |

oh, maaf.. tak clarify things.. all the while, this is my personal opinion lah..
cfp - insurance, unit trusts etc.. basically, asset management..
cfa - upgraded version..
kalau nak kerja di commercial banks.. tak perlu cfa.. diorang bukan buat full-fledged corporate finance and advisory..
kalau nak kerja di investment/merchant banks.. tak perlu cfa, tapi cfa membantu..
my point is that.. kalau nak kerja di investment/merchant banks.. tak perlu cfa.. kerja kat big audit firms dalam 2-3 tahun, sure senang nak dapat kerja di banks.. pergi check those yang kerja kat section corporate finance, capital markets, etc.. rata-rata semua ex-audit firms..
rasanya you tak faham pasal acca sangat ni.. acca ni ada banyak parts.. lulus certain parts adalah equal lulus sijil/diploma/ijazah.. at any point, with few years experience in audit firms in your resume, anytime pun boleh apply kerja di sana..
dan kalau lulus sepenuhnya, barulah qualify as taraf professional.. tapi, tetap mesti ada minimum 3 tahun pengalaman bekerja in accounting/auditing ..
once dah lulus full acca.. ada 3 tahun pengalaman bekerja.. you can even straight away be the boss of all those cfa yang bekerja di banks.. so, agak sendiri lah berapa gaji..
senang cerita la.. acca is a professional course, recognised internationally.. bukan senang nak lulus semua parts.. is it any wonder ramai yang takut nak ambik sampai habis lalu tukar arah? cfa, cfp, etc.. ambik batu, baling ke every corner.. tengok berapa ramai cfa, cfp, etc kat sana.. |
