Iols hari tu baru tgk make the pitch yg ada fadza dgn vv ni. I rasa impressed jugak la. I think fadza is really smart even though dia nampak young and less confident masa mula2 present tu. I'm not saying it is wrong for her to be born with silver spoon in her mouth, I'm just, not impressed with her 'story of success' since she was born with silver spoon in her mouth. And I have the freedom to feel like that about her. And what kind of failure she has experienced since she started her business? Many notable and respectable entrepreneurs experienced failed ventures and had to overcome some obstacles in their life, that make their success a sweet victory. But her 'success story' seduces plebes into thinking they can just go out and pursue their dream anytime, but it is not true. Because she will always has her daddy's money to back her up. Am I or some other people need to be impressed with that? Na ah.

A bit OT but I know this one girl who just got accepted to LSE to read law (just like vivy's) and she is a vivy-stan. Her family biasa2 je tapi she is smart so dapat scholarship.
Now she is struggling there because her expectation to study in the UK is too high. dia berangan nak jadi macam vivy- classes, shopping, minimal study, repeat. But the reality is tough, dia kena kerja part time n there is nothing wrong with that just dlm otak dia dh aim nak life mcm vivy study kt london n that is what vivy is selling to her fans kan.
she is selling her success stories as if semua org if work hard can earn it, which is so wrong sbb most of her fans don't hv the luxuries to fail and still ada $$ backup.

Hurmm everyone pun working hard in this current economy, some even buat 2-3 jobs.
Orang tak nafikan usaha & kejayaan dia, we admit her marketing strategy memang bagus. Cuma, ya, cuma dia ada unfair advantage. Itu saja. Nak setup business? Esok dah boleh setup. Marhaen like us kena fikir modal, kena fikir plan B kalau business fail, kena quit current job etc etc. Datin tak perlu fikir itu semua masa nak set up fv dulu.
People tak anti dia pun. It's just datin bukanlah the best person untuk kita look up as "inspiring". Orang suka kisah-kisah rags to riches macam jack ma, contohnya sebab orang boleh relate. |

Imo tak adil nak kata vivy jual kisah dia waktu uni life dulu. Mungkin ada hardship yang dia tak bagitau (struggle study). Kisah London dia memang seronok dibaca sebab dia tulis part yang best2 je (shopping).
Tapi one thing pasal datin, dia tak pernah galakkan orang jadi entrepreneurs, unlike so-called ceo baru nak up kat ig *cough* |

True her success stories is not that inspiring. Yes she really did work hard to get to where she is now, and it's hard to maintain a big company like fv. So yup she did a great job there. But still we can't ignore the fact that she has the privilege that many people don't have. Maybe dia memang tak mintak duit parents like she said so many times, but you can't deny the fact that having your dad's name really does helps. So nak mintak any loans ke apa2 dah senang. And her circle of friends is not like ours. Her friends semua ada pengaruh, anak somebody. Nak mintak tolong or nak promote anything dah senang. So yeah can't relate much to her success stories |
