Chinese stars lash out at Malaysia on social media
BEIJING — Chinese celebrities, including award-winning actress Zhang Ziyi, have taken to social media to express their anger against what they see as Malaysian incompetence in finding the missing MH370 plane, the China Daily reported.
Ms Zhang is among big-name Chinese entertainment stars such as singer-actor Chen Kun who have in the past few days posted angry comments on Sina Weibo, China’s popular Twitter-like micro-blogging service, accusing Malaysia of mishandling the crisis.
“Malaysian government, you are wrong not to revere life. You are wrong not to respect the universal quest for truth,” the actress, who is known for her starring roles in Hollywood hits such as Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, wrote on her Weibo.
Her boyfriend, musician Wang Feng forwarded the post to his followers in a show of support for her outrage towards the Malaysian government.
The Chinese government has piled on pressure on Malaysia in recent weeks amid frustration from the families who staged a protest near the Malaysian Embassy on Tuesday. Among the flight’s 227 passengers, 153 were Chinese nationals.
Meanwhile, Chen Kun, who has 72 million Weibo followers, vowed a boycott of all commercial products and tourism related to Malaysia. “Not just for the brief moment when the missing plane is in the heat of attention, but indefinitely,” he posted. In less than a day, his posting was shared more than 70,000 times.
The postings reflected much of the emotional reaction online, where some have called for a boycott of Malaysian artistes such as Fish Leong, Lee Sinje and Ah Niu.
However, not all Chinese Internet users agreed with the Malaysia backlash. One Weibo user retorted: “Malaysia is nice — I stayed there for a week in 2007 and had a pleasant memory of the place.
“To boycott the airline because of the incident is like to stop eating after choking on food.” Agencies |

F.B.I. Finds Few Clues on Malaysia Air Pilots’ Flight Simulator and Computers
WASHINGTON — The flight simulator and hard drives that the pilots of Flight 370 had at their homes appear to be a dead end, yielding few clues that shed any light on whether they deliberately diverted the missing jet, according to two people briefed on the investigation.
Malaysian authorities seized the devices early in their inquiry and, after initially keeping American officials at a distance, turned to the F.B.I. last week for help in analyzing them. The Malaysians were particularly interested in learning what it was that the captain of the flight apparently deleted from the simulator in the days before the plane disappeared; the F.B.I. has extensive expertise in recovering deleted computer files.
The F.B.I.’s spokesman, Michael Kortan, said the bureau would not discuss what it had found on the hard drives because the investigation was continuing.
Though investigators are still focusing on the pilots’ role in the plane’s disappearance on March 8, no concrete evidence has come to light to indicate that they sabotaged the flight |

The disappearance of flight MH370 has triggered painful memories for families of another Malaysia Airlines tragedy who have been waiting for answers even longer – 37 years, to be exact, reported CNN today.
“Thirty-seven years down the line, we still don’t really know the truth,” Ruth Parr, who was 19 when her father, Thomas, died in the crash, told CNN.
The hijacker or hijackers of MH653 have never been identified, despite cockpit voice recordings that captured everything from the breach of the cockpit to the sound of gunshots that killed both pilots.
A report by the Malaysian Civil Aviation Department said the aircraft was hijacked as it approached Kuala Lumpur.
Apparently, there was confusion over whether it should land there and the aircraft then proceeded towards Singapore.
As it descended, the crew was shot and the aircraft “carried out some unusual pitch up and pitch down terminal manoeuvres before finally crashing into swampy ground at some 450 knots”.
The report, quoted by CNN, concluded that the crash was caused by the crew being fatally incapacitated, leaving the aircraft “professionally uncontrolled”.
However, some eyewitnesses at the time reported seeing the aircraft in flames before it hit the ground, while others reported hearing an explosion before the crash although there was no evidence to support these allegations. |

Bila masa plak najib umum semua meninggal? Crash pun Najib tak umum. Najib umum Flight MH370 ENDED in southern indian ocean.

sedara aku pun ada dalam a/c tu. gi hotel tu 1st day tu pun dh cukup. gilir2 la dgn sedara mara yg ... najib punya tanggungjwb pd negara......bukn unt mh370 shj.
yess.. diorang lupa agaknya , najib pm negara Malaysia, bukannya pm mh370, adakah harus mengabaikan tanggungjawab lain semata2 mh370 saja?
tengok negara china tu saje lah... takde pulak president dia gigih datang sini nak diskass pasal mh370, dia hantar wakil, sebab dia pun ada tanggungjawab lain nak buat... |
