Liverpool are keeping tabs on Wayne Bridge's situation at Chelsea.
The People says Bridge's Chelsea future was plunged back into doubt yesterday when boss Avram Grant dropped him in favour of Ashley Cole - and alerted Liverpool.
Grant admitted after Tuesday's Carling Cup semifinal, first leg against Everton, that Bridge's inclusion was a selection decision rather than one enforced by an injury to Cole.
Bridge turned in a very good performance in the 2-1 win and the left back was stunned by yesterday's snub for the Tottenham game.
His disappointment will be noted by Kop boss Rafa Benitez.
