Macai totok party assobiyyah macam ko aje yang dok sibuk pasal City Canal yang hanya alihkan 30% (at peak) dari Sungai Klang ke Sungai Langat - sekarang ko pulak persoalkan jumlah 30% ni
Nampak benar ko tak tau apa yang ko cakap
LOOOL ... orang buta sains bercakap , boleh tanya pulak macam ni :
Simulation? Simulation guna apa? Ada software ke? Atau ada model mini topologo selangor pastu acah2 tuang air kat atas model tu

x termampu nk buat flood study guna kaedah manual tanpa software skrg ni...catchment utk development beso2 kan bang?

Sebab tu ler bangkem tanya guna software ke ape
Setakat guna software tu mana la 100% tepat.. terbukti dah sekarang.. patut turun padang.. jumpa stakeholders, ambik sampel tanah, jumpa penduduk, tengok jenis pokok, buat survey etc
Zaman UMNO dulu setakat guna desktop study ke bila buat keputusan nak buat canal city ni? Senang2 je batal projek yang dah buat kajian menyeluruh dengan kajian atas meja bawah aircond jah |

Ya, awak betul.
I rasa you sudah confused. Like I said before panama and suez canals were not constructed as water conveyance canals they are a water transport canals. The gates yg kat these canals are not flood gates dear, they are lock gates, so they can launch vessels bukan untuk control how much water can go in or not macam sluice gates.
Desktop study tu maybe dia buat pluvial and flood modelling which involves hyraulics/hyrological
modelling. Simulation pula for flood risk guna hydrodynamic modelling. Softwares depends la yg selalu guna Mike 21, ISIS, arGIS etc etc so kalau pluvial tak cukup, hydro tak cukup, no point buat cost it will not be cheap. Baik improve drainage infra je and river barrage ke.
You can refer to Singapore’s stamford diversion canal and stamford detention tank. Cost $230 mil. |

Adakah dapatan DESKTOP STUDY ni reliable utk dijadikan rujukan utk membuat keputusan sebesar MEMBATALKAN PROJEK berimpak tinggi mcm Canal City ni? |
