The song "BLUE" is definitely different than what "BIG BANG" was until now. I've been listening to these guys since I was 15 and the biggest reason why I remain their fan for so long is because their music grew with me. Back then, the whole hard on hip-hop and break dancing thing, I was so into that, that's why Big Bang appealed to me back then. And then as time goes by, my music taste matured and so did their music, if they were doing the same old hip-hop stuff, I think I would've abandoned Big Bang a long time ago.

BLUE, I didn't think I would've love this song as much as I do.

Music video aside, I honestly love this song. That refreshing way they start off the song, I was listening to this song on repeat in the car on my way to school this morning and overtime it start up again, it's like a new song, the ending and the beginning is so drastically different that it makes me feel as if it's a new adventure everytime the song starts. The overall flow of the song is so mellow and relaxing, the lyrics is addicting and I'm already singing along to every word. Bong and Tabi's rap brought a song to a new tempo and that got me excited, and when my Baby sings, the world swoons. Then there's Dae and Bae, the way all 3 of them blend together, so harmonic and beautiful.

I don't know how the hell Bong do it, but goddamn bro, a job well done.

The MV itself, I find beautiful, the way they used the slow motion, it almost resemble the style of "LOVE SONG" very blue, and then the streets of New York add a raw feel to the MV. This definitely has the classic "BIG BANG" feel to it, no story, just them expressing the emotion of the song.
