The striker does not seem to be happy in the Spanish capital at the moment...

Klaas-Jan Huntelaar has admitted that he was "disappointed" not to play against Valencia at the weekend and is waiting to see what happens in the Real Madrid elections this summer.

The Dutch striker joined Madrid last winter and even though he has grabbed a few goals, he has not been the hit that many predicted he would be.

Now, with the summer transfer window approaching, and a new president coming in, there are rumours he could leave the club after just six months in Spain.

Speaking today about his situation, Huntelaar sounded less than certain as to what he is going to do this summer.

"In principle, I will stay with Madrid because I have a contract there. There are elections and the president will change though, I will wait to see if the coach changes too," AS quote him as saying.

Certainly the Dutchman seems to be frustrated about not playing in the last game against Valencia, which ended with Madrid losing 3-0.

He revealed that even though he has missed out through injury, this time he was ready to play and was sad not to do so.

"I did not play against Barcelona because I had some back trouble, but I expected to play and start against Valencia. The coach preferred Raul and [Gonzalo] Higuain and, in truth, I was disappointed," he explained.
