la ni dah start sale, utk x'mas n new year kot... gila vavik la jugak, kak hari2 singgah shopping mall, tadi baru rembat handbag + 2 purse, smlm rembat jaket kat Springfield, 2 pull over, 2 jaket kat Splash... rega jgn cakap la, murah2. United color pun dah sale, GAP jer blum start.. kalau nak tunggu MEGA SALE tu dalam mid of January... kalau nak transit Dubai, make sure hari Jumaat ok, baru kak buleh bawak gi jenjalan...

hari tu lips dari cairo ngan train, masa ke alex, mcm 3 jam... tapi masa balik ke cairo 2 jam jer... budak yg beli tiket pun x tahu tu tiket xpress ke haper, main beli ajer... hehehe, masa ke alex LE25, masa balik cairo LE30, express la tu kot, baru nak lelap... tetiba mcm sume org nak turun jer, tanya org sebelah rupa2 nya dah sampa... bengong sat....

a'ah ler, baru perasan dn teringat, depa kat sana suka jer join tourist bergambar.. kita yg dah syok berposing, tetiba ada la 1 grup pompuan ni peluk2 kita dari blkng..

ingatkan apa, rupanya depa sana bukan ada pon benda2 canggih mcm yg kita ada.. contoh mcm digicam tu.. aku ingat lagi, lepas snap, terus show kat depa.. sukanya dier.. gelak2 tengok muka depa kat lcd digicam

dlm pada tu, aku rasa kesian dan bersyukur, dan insaf.. kesian pada mereka, benda2 mcm tu bukan 1 kemestian bagi mereka miliki, tp kita kat sini, seboleh2nya, mesti ada kan?? boleh meninmbulkan keinsafan pada diri.. contoh kan, kalau tengok pengangkutan darat mereka, bas ke, kreta ker.. benda2 mcm tu, adalah KEPERLUAN, bukannya KEMAHUAN..
asal benda tu boleh bergerak dan hantar mereka ke destinasi tujuan.. kreta takde pintu pun bleh, asal tujuan dapat dituju dgn selamatnya..

p/s; teringat lagi, masa pegi sana, konon nak cari cd lagu2 arab.. bila masuk kedai muzik jer, hampeh.. haram jer cd tu tak jumpa.. mereka kat sana masih guna kaset la...

French teenagers victims of Cairo bomb

A 17-year-old French girl died and 17 other French teenagers aged as young as 13 were injured when a bomb exploded in a crowded Cairo market on Sunday.

The blast occurred at the Khan al-Khalili market close to the historic Hussein mosque in a medieval part of the Egyptian capital. A second bomb was discovered by police after the explosion and was safely detonated.

The teenagers were part of a group of 54 school children from Paris, aged from 13 - 17, visiting the bazaar before heading home. The dead girl, from the Paris suburb of Levallois-Perret, died in hospital. Another young man of 17 is seriously injured.

A total of 22 people were injured in the blast including the French children, a German tourist, three Saudis and three Egyptians.

Police cordoned off the area, full of cafes and souvenir shops, and used bomb-sniffing dogs to locate a second device as worshippers were evacuated from the mosque. Some witnesses said one of the bombs appeared to have been thrown from a passing motorbike, while others said the devices were lobbed from a nearby rooftop.

"There was a very powerful explosion. Then screams and blood. We all started running," said Romy Janiw, 28, one of the seven adults accompanying the teenagers.

Some reached Hussein hospital, a few hundred metres away, by foot. Others jumped into taxis to get to another medical facility.

"We were very united. We helped the wounded," Romy said.

"We are devastated. The families are terribly shocked," Levallois-Perret deputy mayor Jean-Yves Cavallini, who city organised the vacation with an association, told AFP.

A crisis team with psychologists was made available for the childrens' parents, he said.

"We had to notify the parents of the dead young woman. It was very hard," said M. Cavallini.

Tourism is the life-blood of the Egyptian economy, and was hit hard last September when gunmen in the far south of the country kidnapped a group of 10 foreigners, mostly Germans and Italians, on tour of a remote desert region. The tourists were eventually freed in a raid by Egyptian special forces backed by German and Italian commandos.

Extreme Islamist groups have in the past deliberately targeted the lucrative trade in tourists lured to Egypt by its ancient monuments and medieval mosques.

They have mostly focused on Egypt抯 popular Red Sea resorts, carrying out a spate of lethal bomb attacks on hotels between 2004 and 2006. The deadliest attack on foreign visitors was however witnessed in 1997 in Luxor, an ancient Egyptian city south of the capital, in which 68 people were killed. It was claimed by the extremist Muslim group Jammaa Islamiyya.

To safeguard the tourism industry large numbers of police have been deployed in areas popular with foreign visitors, with guards riding on tour buses and guarding checkpoints across Sinai.

French President Nicolas Sarkozy last night expressed "deep sorrow" over the attack, while Prime Minister Francois Fillon said the French government "strongly condemns this criminal act whose blind violence shows its absurdity."

The French embassy and consulate moved quickly to provide assistance to the teenagers. All of the wounded, except a 17-year-old boy, are expected to be able to fly back to Paris on Monday.

The families of the girl who died and the seriously wounded young man will fly to Cairo on Monday, said another Levallois-Perret city hall official.

adeh,tak tau nak ckp selamat ke cairo skg..kalau kat khan khalili tu mmg pelancong ramai ya amat..sbb tu kena bom..dulu sblm ni dah kena bom dh sekali..buat skg ni polis n askar ramai yg jaga..tp still byk tmpt lg selain khalili tu( aku panggil tempat tu hussin) sbb dkt dgn masjid hussin...klau pi egypt try naik jabal sinai(tempat munajat nabi Musa) mesti bestt...

Saya memang tengah plan naki pi Cairo...bila dengar pasal bom tu, tak jadi pula...lepas tu baca thread ni, rasa nak pi semula. Cuma nak tanya kalau pi sendiri without tour guide ok ke tak? Dia orang pandai cakap Inggeris ke.? Dah pi Istanbul sendiri, ok....tapi Cairo tak pernah pi.

ya betul..bila kita pi travel mana2 mesti cuba local food.

time summer kat egypt paling suka minum sugar cane..kat sini memang tak de sugar cane juice ni..ada pun yg dlm kotak, rasa tak sama lah dgn yg fresh punye ni..tang makanan pulak sgt2 suka stuffed pigeon makan dgn molokhia..

bulan puasa ni kami balik cairo cuti2 dari 3/9 sampai 10/10n, inshallah...beraya sekali kat sana..gaduh2 dgn suami pasai berebut nak balik malaysia cuti raya tapi suami menang sbb dia tak pernah balik beraya since 1995..selalu balik egypt pun time summer..aduihh dah lah thn lepas tak balik malaysia..sedihnya..

..cuti2 malaysia thn ni plan hujung thn lah pulak..

ckp pasal bulan puasa ni gue kena ganti puasa 28 days ni..
