ni aku cilok dr forum kat lostpedia....ada fan yg buat explaination...yg pd aku leh diterima....
loved this episode... usually I hate series finales, but this was perfect. I couldn't be happier with the ending. I can't believe how confused some of you are though; it was pretty straight forward. If you look at the big picture of the series, instead of ripping apart every detail, you can figure it out. In the end, it came down to the characters and their relationships... not the crazy crap happening on the island. I've never cried so hard (watching a show) in my life.
To make it clear:
Island= Real Life
ALT= Purgatory
White Light at the church= Next stage (afterlife or whatever you believe)
Christian stated that people who died before Jack & long after were there... There's no specific time frame "there". There is no sense of time in the ALT. It only has an end, and that's when Jack finally remembers everything.
It doesn't matter if Jack died 50 years before Hurley. Everyone in "real world" time dies when they die. When they all eventually meet up in the ALT, they are all in denial about their death until they have those little flashes and know what they're all there for. John Locke said to Jack "We've been waiting for you" confirming what Christian said & that they all were waiting for Jack to realize why they were all there.
They were the same age as when they knew each other because it was the most important time of their lives, as Christian said. That's why BABY Aaron was there... that's how he was in all of their memories. The reason every single Lost character wasn't at the church is because they weren't that important to Jack. The important ones whom he cared about & loved were all there waiting for him... I'm glad that Michael wasn't there. I hated his character.
Ben didn't go inside because he still had more "repenting" to do. I believe he was afraid to see what was waiting for him... thats why he apologized to Locke & why Hurley came out and commended him on "being a good number 2".
I believe that the wreckage at the end of the episode was the plane that Frank, Sawyer, Kate, Claire, Richard & Miles were on.
Oh and I agree that "The Island made me crazy. I don't want Aaron to see me like this!" was the WORST part of the episode. Uhhh... the island is crumbling, what did she just say? REALLY?! |

LOST finale was an extended version of Sixth Sense and Ghost Whisperer all roll into one. Apa daaaa. And at the end of it all was.... go into the light 
Ada org pernah cakap, the ending of LOST better not be about them waking up and suddenly realised it was all a dream. That would be very disappointing. Aku dah rasa mcm tu lepas tengok finale. |

Sabar Ha  . Aku donlod pakai 2 computer, satu ofis, satu laptop sendiri pakai celcom broadband. And guess what, tanpa di sangka Celcom aku tu berjaya mendonlot 4 files (altogether 7 files) berbanding komputer ofis tu yg cuma dpt donlod 3 files padahal sepatutnya line ofis lah yg laju. Tapi taktik aku biasalah, guna rapidshare, hotfile, uploading, megaupload etc serentak. Mana yg lebih 4 jam utk donlod, aku terminate, cari link lain. The whole afternoon buat kerja ni. Bila ada org nak discuss kerja, aku dah tak boleh concentrate gara2 nak mendonlod ni.  |

One thing, dari konsep auld lang syne it was a sad farewell after 6 years of being together. Agaknya Richard, Miles, Frank, Ana Lucia, Ben etc wasn't ready to go into the light. |

The first episode of the series, Pilot, Part 1, begins with Jack opening his eyes, near Vincent, in the bamboo grove with Christian Shephard's white tennis shoe nearby. The final episode of the series ends with Jack returning to the same location and closing them.... |

SPOILER ALERT!! sila jangan baca kalau belum tengok FINALE:
Frankly, aku pun tak berapa happy dengan Finale nih. One thing aku paling tak puas hati ialah THE FLOW OF THE EPISODE. Macam tak kena. Especially part Jack-Locke-Desmond-Hurley kat island tu. Like wth???!!! By the time sampai ke part Jack bagi Hurley minum air tu, I was near to rolling my eyes. Aku suka Hurley, tapi aku rasa macam tak kena je part tu. Macam awkward jek Jack bagi title dia ke Hurley. Explanation Jack pun macam tak kena. Aggh!!!!!! Why why why..diorg dah takde idea dah ke???  |

Aku rasa la kan, maksud Christian Shepard masa dia kata:
Christian Shepard: Everyone dies sometime, kiddo. Some of them before you, some of them long after you.
Maybe maksudnya, everyone at the island eventually dies. Hurley, Ben, most probably mati kat island while guarding the island as #1 and #2. Yang naik Ajira like Kate, Claire, Sawyer pulak maybe mati after that tak tahu bila and di mana.
Aku rasa macam tu la, masa diorg crash kat island, semua belum mati lagi. Tapi selepas melalui macam2 semua tu, lama2 semua pun mati sikit2. Last sekali kita tengok Jack yang mati. And alt-timeline tu hanyalah tempat purgatory sahaja. Before diorg cross over to the other side. |

aku setuju dgn pemahaman cupcake kt atas..tak semua mati kat island...apa yg berlaku kat island tu mmg real life...diorg tak mati masa 1st crash tu....sapa yg mati tu mati la...sbb semua org akan mati jugak tak kira msh muda atau tua...mati kena tembak ke..kena tikam ke..kena tibai ngan smokey ke...tak kira sblm jack mati or selepas jack mati...manusia tetap akan mati w/pon huley n ben akan hidup beribu thn mcm jacob/mib/mother/richard...sbb diorg pon mati jugak at last...apa yg berlaku selama ni mmg real life...
kat alt timeline tu bukan real life tp 'purgatory'....org kristian percaya pulgatory ni tempat pembersihan jiwa sblm g syurga...takde spesific timeline masa ni...ms ni jugak tak parallel dgn mana2 timeline...hanya kisah semua org bila dh mati yg hidup dlm denial (xsedar yg diorg ni dh mati)...david pon sebenarnya bukan anak jack n juliet (mcm yg locke ckp)...mungkin anak org lain..maybe bila david dh ingat balik sapa dia sebenarnya dia akan g balik kat mak bapak dia sebenar semasa hidup...
island tu just happened to be special n magical...no other reasons...sbb tu dharma initiative buat science reaserch kat sana...tp apa fungsi pulau tu sebenarnya kita tak tau...msg2 leh wat anggapan msg2...apa2 pon aku puas ati dgn cite ni...tak kira la mcm mana berbelit sekalipon diorg mengkompiuskan aku...kalu nk bg aku tak kompuis n ending mcm yg aku nk gamaknya aku kena tgk cite lain yg ordinary or buat cite sendiri je...

I Rasa everything eppen kat island tu real kot..judge on these dialogues
C:"Hey kiddo"
J:"Dad"
C:"Hello Jack"
J:"I don't understand, you died"
C:"Yeah, yes I did"...
J:"Well then how are you here right now?"
C: "How are *you* here?"
J: "I died too"
C: "It's OK,it's OK,it's OK son"
J:"Love you Dad"
C:"I love you too son"
J:"Your real"
C"I sure hope so, yeah I'm real,your real,everything that's ever happened to you is real,all those people in the church, their real too."
J:"Their all, their all dead?"
C:"Everyone dies sometimes kiddo, some of them before you, some of them long after you"
J:"But why are they all here now?"
C:"Well there is no *now*, *here*"
J:"Where are we dad?"
C:"Well this is a place that you all made together, so that you could find one another. The most important part of your life was the time that you spent with these people. That's why all of you are here. Nobody does it alone Jack, you needed
all of them, and they needed you"

Did they all die in the crash? Nope. The island was real, and itwasn't purgatory. Rather, Season 6's sideways world was heaven'sholding pen. Ben's reluctance to enter the church suggests he wasn'tfinished atoning for his misdeeds. His chat with Hurley also indicatedthey had cared for the island for a while.
How did Hurley stay so heavy? Remember, the Losties were on theisland only four months at first, during which he claimed to havedropped a couple of belt notches. Once home, he continued emotionaleating to assuage his guilt about the Oceanic Six's lie. akhirnya aku faham: First off, Lost never focused on the Island or it’s Mysteries. It simply follows the story of a bunch of people, who were alone in their lives and were chosen to protect the Island.
The Island itself is not hell, but inside it is the doorway to Hell. Like Jacob said, it’s a “Cork” that keeps the evil from escaping.
As long as the light on the Island is protected ,Evil can't escape.
Some people think that all the Characters died when they crashed on the Island. The people on the Island were NOT dead! They survived the crash. They were all brought there by Jacob.
Jacob, the previous protector of the Island was probably living for a 1000 years or longer and knew his cycle would come to an end. He brought 360 candidates to the Island, so he could find the one worthy of protecting it when he is gone.
Most people died in the process of becoming the next Jacob. But as we all learned, everybody dies sooner or later and death is just the beginning.
The Black Smoke Monster was originally human. Not just any human, but Jacob’s brother. Jacob and his brother were not allowed to leave the Island. Unfortunately his brother didn’t listen, so Jacob threw him into the light that he was suppose to protect. Somehow some evil escaped and transformed his brother into the Black Smoke Monster. Since the brother wasn’t evil in the first place, but just had the desire to leave the Island, the question rises why he became evil.
The brother was about to die in the light, just next to the entrance to hell. Some evil kept in the ground made a deal with the brother. Giving him a new life, invincibility and the power to leave the island in exchange for destroying the island before he leaves. The brother scared of dying, accept the deal, which turned him into the black smoke monster. So deep down, the black smoke monster was just a kid that wanted to leave the Island, unfortunately, that would mean evil would spread around the world leading to the end of days.
LOST focused on the time line of Jack Shepherd. It began with Jack opening his eyes, lying in the bamboo filed, just after he crashed on the Island, and the show ended when he closed his eyes, lying in the bamboo field and died.
Some Characters died before him, others like Kate and Sawyer managed to get of the Island, probably lived a happy life and then died at some point.
Others like Hurly and Ben lived for another 500 or even 1000 years to protect the Island, but then died as well.
And what was believed to be an alternative timeline in season 6, was in fact the Purgatory. A place where our souls go after we die, a place where we are prepared for heaven or hell. Unfortunately many souls are stuck in that place, either not knowing why they are there, or afraid to move on. In case of the candidates, they were all LOST souls in the purgatory. Jack’s soul created a fictional son, which he always wanted but never had. Sawyer was a Cop, because deep down he always wanted to do good things etc.
But to move on, they had to remember what really happened. Some souls like Ben were still afraid to move on that’s why he didn’t enter the church. Can’t really blame him after all, he killed dozens of people.
Another lost soul was the Wife of Charles Whitmore, Mother of Daniel Whitmore. She obviously knew where she was and asked Desmond at the Table why he makes them Remember. She then asked if he’s gonna takeaway her son. She’s probably afraid to move on incase she goes to hell and her son goes to heaven, after all, she killed her own son back when she was young and her son travelled back in time.
In the end, they all remembered what happened to them. They were all alone in their life until they met each other on the Island. Becoming best friends and willing to die for each other. Making their relationship to each other on the Island the most important thing they had in their life. That’s why they found each other in the purgatory again and moved on together.
Lost basically tells us that Friends are the most important things we have in life. And as long as we have them, we won't be lost. |
