##### KRISTINE ARTICLE NOT ABOUT THE WEDDING ####
Born Kristine Hermosa Orille, Kristine grew up in Pacita Complex in Laguna. Her father, Maximillan, is an engineer who works in London. Her mom Alma, from whom she got her mestiza good looks, brought up her three kids while her father was away. Kristine has always been a beautiful girl, but her ambition as a child was to be a flight attendant not an actress. It was her sister kathleen who wanted to be one. But because Kristine had a face that could launch a thousand ships, it was enough to get her noticed by Mr. M himself, star building big guy Johnny Manahan.
Manahan cast her in Ang TV, a daily variety show featuring kids doing the requisite skits, dance, and song numbers. Soon, she was getting television shows and movie parts one after another. She was a mainstay in ABS-CBN shows like Richard Loves Lucy, Munting Paraiso, Star Drama Theater Presents, and Cyberkada. But her biggest break came via the soap opera Pangako Sa 'Yo. The soap made her ABS-CBN Talent Center's hottest property. It was also where she met Jericho Rosales, her love team partner in reel and, later on, real life.
LITTLE GIRL LOST
But soon, the love team went bust. The cause may be their busy working schedules, which made it hard for both of them to make their relationship work. or, it may be the rumor that jericho had a child by another girl. whatever the reason was, by the time they began working on Sana'y Wala ng Wakas, their second soap, they were paired with other actors. Jericho was paired with Angelika dela Crus, while Kristine was paired with Diether.
The change though, proved to be welcome to the viewers and kristine . it provided a more interesting storyline to the show, and provided kristine the chance of finding another shot at love with Diether.
Which is not to say that everytghing was A- okay when she first met Diether, she tells Jocelyn Valle," Feeling niya ang guapo-guapo niya," to describe her first impression on diether. The two reportedly fought when they started working together. Diether was reluctant to join the soap, knowing that the story would center on Kristine and Jericho, "I trusted ABS-CBN with what they wanted to happen[in the story] ," he tells moviestar. "But during that time, I really didnt want to do it. Which is probably why when we started working together, I wasn't comfortable with kristine....But things can always change." And things did change, It wasnt long before they warmed up to each other. Kristine says that Diet understands her mood swings, which are not a strange occurence for a girl of 21. The two became friends, and soon love blossomes between the two. They've been together for seven months now(9 months this dec 27). Of course, Kristine's current relationship is bound to be compared to her previous one. She tells moviestar, "My relationship with Diether is more mature[compared with my relationship with jericho]. We have so many things in common. We went through the same things. We've gone through a lot."
For Diether, fate plays a huge part on how they fell in love with each other. He tells Moviestar, " We were brought together. Can you call that destiny? We met in a soap. Alot of people are aware that we didn't really like each other. who would have thought that our fights is the very same thing that made us close . Our friendship blossomed into something deeper. we're now in a relationship we hope that would last forever."
BCUZ OF YOU
Now, Kristine and Diet once again became reel-life swwethearts via their new movie, Bcuz of You. The film, which features three episodes, has Diether and Kristine playing young couple who soon realize that not everything is sweet and rosy in their relationship.
Kristine is aware that the same can happen to her relationship with Diether, but she's hoping that this time around, love will treat her more kindly. The girl is so in love that she tells Mildred Bacud, "I'm willing to risk everything[for him]. I'm willing to give up everything . I'm [even] willing to leave show biz for him." |
