A mountain that looks like it's from another planet! Mount Bokty, in Kazakhstan, is a natural wonder that defies imagination with its multicolored layers and surreal shape, as if the earth itself had created a work of art.
Located in the Mangystau region, this limestone formation is the result of millions of years of erosion, sculpted by the winds that once blew over the Tethys Ocean. Its base is adorned with white, yellow, coral, and brown stripes, resembling the layers of a giant cake. When the first rays of the sun or the sunset touch it, the mountain glows in golden and reddish tones, creating a mesmerizing spectacle for visitors.
This remote corner also holds a piece of history, as a secondary route of the ancient Silk Road once passed through here, making it a place full of mystery and charm.
