Episode 7
Min-chul waits anxiously along the hospital's corridor for Zero to appear, just then, he hears footsteps and is taken aback to see San-jae. San-jae is equally shocked to see Min-chul, he tells Min-chul he is here looking for his senior, but Min-chul is beginning to question his presence. Min -chul returns home and goes into San-jae's room. Scrutinizing his computer, he recalls Zero's mode of communication. Min-chul asks San-jae if he still plays the keyboard, San-jae tells him he has stopped playing since Sung-chun is against the idea.Min-chul returns to his room pondering over the matter. He calls Yeon-soo and informs her that they are leaving early for work. Yeon-soo expresses her displeasure at Min-chul for being domineering, he brushes away her comments and drives to the beach.
Na-rae brings Sae-na a home-cooked meal on behalf of Yeon-soo, Sae-na suspects that the food is from Yeon-soo, she refuses to eat it and gives it to Jung-hun instead. Jung-hun tells everyone that they will be performing on stage at the amusement park during the weekend. Their performance will be judged by the audience. Everyone is excited and promises to do their best. Sae-na catches sight of San-jae and invites him to attend her performance at the amusement park, Jung-hun is upset that Sae-na gives her attention to San-jae. Before leaving Sae-na gives San-jae a kiss, San-jae is shocked.
San-jae waits for Yeon-soo and brings her to the amusement park, he buys her a little gift for her cell phone and enjoyed themselves on the rides. Yeon-soo tells San-jae to go backstage and give Sae-na some encouragement, San-jae urges her along but she turns him down. San-jae's attention towards Sae-na resulted in Kum-suk's jealousy. She tells a fellow classmate to distract the crowd during Sae-na's performance, ruining Sae-na's performance.San-jae and Yeon-soo accompany Sae-na back home. Sae-na, upset about her ruined performance, asks Yeon-soo to accompany her. Yeon-soo is glad that Sae-na looks to her for solace. Yeon-soo returns home to find Min-chul accompanying Min-ji, Min-ji questions Yeon-soo lateness but Min-chul defends her by explaining she had some work to do, he returns to his room. Yeon-soo runs after him but Min-chul is reluctant to speak to her.
Kyong-hee approaches San-jae at school and tells him she is a friend of
Myong-ja, San-jae returns hone and relates to Myong-ja about his encounter with Kyong-hee, Myong-ja wonders about the identity of the woman.
Min-chul tells Sung-chun that a certain Muse Records seems to be competing fiercely with them, he asks Sung-chun if there was any bad blood between their companies. Sung-chun wants Min-chul to stop wasting resources on Zero but Min-chul is determined to seek Zero out. Min-chul gives a sum of money to Shin Jae-eun's mother for her medical fees, reciprocating his kindness, she reveals that her daughter had informed Zero about her operation date. Min-chul waits for Zero to appear and is shocked to discover Zero is actually San-jae.

Episode 8
San-jae visits Yeon-soo at her workplace, he takes the opportunity to check her cell phone number. San-jae sees Min-chul sitting in his car outside their home, he knocks on the window to check if he is well. On the way up to his room, Min-chul sees Yeon-soo bringing Min-ji her breakfast, he takes over the errand and tells Yeon-soo to wait for him in his room. In his room, he lies on Yeon-soo's lap and confides in her. Yeon-soo symphatises with him.
Min-chul, San-jae and Sung-chun are at the tennis court. The conversation is centered on Zero. Min- chul seeks San-jae opinion about locating Zero, when San-jae suggests he gives up his search, Min- chul expresses his determination to locate him. His declaration shocks San-jae.Sae-na invites Yeon-soo to the mall, she tells her about her reunion with San-jae and expresses her fondness for San-jae. In order to avoid any mis-understanding, Yeon-soo refrains from telling her about her friendship with San jae.
San jae expresses his displeasure over Yeon-soo's devotion to Min-chul. Yeon-soo hints to San-jae about Sae-na's affection for him and tells him that she is happy that San-jae is by Sae-na's side. San-jae is sad after hearing her words.Jung-hun questions San-jae's relationship with Sae-na, San-jae denies any feelings for her, Jung- hun is relieved. Jung-hun mentions to San-jae that Min-chul was asking if San-jae did help in Jung-hun's music compositions. San-jae is puzzled by Min-chul's sudden interest in him.
At Victory Records, everyone is viewing the performance tapes at the amusement park. Sung- chun is particularly interested in Sae-na's progress, despite Bong-tal's revelation that she had once worked in a club, Sung-Chun feels she is a talent and she should be given an opportunity. Jung- hun secretly reveals to Sae-na that either she or Kum-suk has a possibility to cut an album and encourages her to work harder. Sae-na is ecstatic.
Na-rae shares the good news with Yeon-soo, Yeon-soo is excited about Sae-na's rapid improvements. Na-rae tells Yeon-soo to end the employment at Min-chul's home since Sae-na is progressing in her career. Yeon-soo objects to the idea as she has not done anything for Min-ji as yet. Sensing that Min-chul is the reason for her reluctance, Na-rae advises her that Min-chul is not the right guy for her.San-jae calls Min-chul and tells him to wait for him at his office as he needs to speak to him, Min-chul agrees.Sae-na approaches Yeon-soo, Yeon-soo is glad that she is taking the initiatve to be friendly with her. She congratulates Sae-na on her progress. Sae-na invites her to attend a small celebration with her in the recording studio that night, Yeon-soo agrees.
Yeon-soo meets Min-ji and brings her to an art school, she advises her to continue her art studies. Yeon-soo reveals that she has taken a long time to finish her tertiary education because of her financial difficulties but she is glad she has not given up her dreams. Yeon-Soo tells Min-ji she will be home later, Min-ji warns her not to be too late or she might be reprimanded by Sung-chun. Yeon-soo is glad that her relationship with Min-ji is improving. On her way home, Min-ji stops outside a tuition school and thought of Yeon-soo's words.
Sae-na meets San-jae outside the company and insists he joins her to celebrate her achievements, San- jae is happy to hear of her progress and obliges. San-jae is surprised to see Yeon-soo. Yeon-soo steps out to get some utensils, on the way, she stops by Min-chul's office and sees him sleeping on the couch. She moves in and covers him with his coat, waking him. Yeon-Soo explains she is here to celebrate with Sae-na and thanks him for helping Sae-na fulfill her dream. Min-chul asks her about her dream, Yeon-soo tells him she hopes to draw forever and have a family of her own.
Just as she is leaving, her cell phone rings. Min-chul shows his anger and stops her from answering, he disconnects the call when he hears San-jae's voice. Consumed with jealousy, Min-chul demands to know why San-jae has her number ; greatly hurt by Min-chul's rage, Yeon-Soo dashes out. San-jae, having overheard the converation, steps in and reprimands Min-chul for hurting Yeon-soo, he expresses his love for Yeon-soo and warns Min-chul about fooling with her. Min-chul, in turn exposes San-jae's facade behind Zero ; San-jae is shocked and begs him not to tell Sung-chun.
The next day, Min-chul looks for Yeon-soo at the retail floor and hands her the cell phone but she refuses to take it back and treats him with utmost coldness.Myong-ja receives a mysterious call from the sender of the bouquet, she insists on meeting her. At the cafe, she is surprised to see Kyong-hee. Kyong-hee tells Myong-ja that she should reveal the truth about San-jae's rightful birth but Myong-ja objects to the idea.Min-chul, still affected by Yeon-soo's attitude, reads an incoming message on her cell phone. It is from San-jae arranging to meet her at the bus-stand after work. Fearing that San-jae might express his love for Yeon-soo, he intercepts her after work and insists she leaves with him. Yeon-soo, upset with his domineering ways, demands that he sends her home, he lets her off at the bus terminal. In the bus, a confused Yeon-soo could not help but turn back to look at Min-chul, witnessing his dejected form, she alights from the bus. Min-chul turns back and catches sight of her, he is relieved.

Episode 9
Min-chul and Yeon-soo arrive at the beach, they confide their feeling towards one another and affirms their relationship. San-jae is anxious about Yeon-soo's absence, he calls Sae-na to enquire about Yeon-soo's whereabouts. Na-rae leaves a message for Yeon-soo to return her call and expresses her anxiety. Sae-na overhears her and is angry to learn that Yeon-soo is working at Min-chul's home.
After a long night of waiting, San-jae arrives home to see Min-chul and Yeon-soo together. He runs after Min-chul and demands an explanation about their night away. Min-chul hints at his relationship with Yeon-soo.
Min-ji tells Yeon-soo about her decision to sit for the entrance examinations, she tells Yeon-soo to keep it from her brother as she fears she might abandon her resolution along the way and disappoints Min-chul. At this moment, San-jae barges into the room and drags Yeon-soo to the garden. He confesses his feelings for her and warns Yeon-soo about trusting Min-chul. Yeon-soo is upset about his declaration and confirms her love for Min-chul.
Yeon-soo confides in Na-rae, her love for Min-chul and seeks her support. Min-chul seeks Yeon-soo out and hands her the cell phone, he surprises her with a deep kiss.Sung-chun receives an invitation card from Muse Records to attend its opening ceremony, Sung-chun informs Min-chul to attend the event . Sung-chun has always fear that Kyong-hee will return someday to seek revenge, he instructs Bong-tal to locate her whereabouts as soon as possible.
Yeon-soo meets San-jae at the bus-stand and tries to strike a conversation with him, San-jae is still upset about Yeon-soo's love for Min-chul, however, he wants her to promise that she will come back to him if she realise Min-chul is not right for her. Yeon-soo insists that she has made the right decision.Sae-na gets Jung-hun to accompany her to Min-chul's home, she gives him the excuse that she wants to thank him personally for his help. She meets Yeon-soo and San-jae at the entrance and leaves in a huff. Na-rae explains Yeon-soo's efforts to help Sae-na and assures her that Yeon-soo has her heart set on Min-chul and treats San-jae as a good friend. Sae-na is appeased by her explanations.
Sae-na looks for Yeon-soo and expresses her gratitude towards her. She promises Yeon-soo she will do her best and tells her to make clear her feelings to San-jae.Kyong-hee meets Min-chul and tells him about her brief acquaintance with Sung-chun and wants him to inform Sung-chun of her return. She vaguely mentions Yong-jun's friendship with his father, Min-chul is curious.

Episode 10
Min-chul gathers information on Kyong-hee and is surprised to read about her checkered past and Yong-jun's death.Na-rae is excited that her dreams of becoming an artiste manage is fulfilled. She shares the good news Yeon-soo and disclose she might have a chance to be Sae-na's manager in future. Min-chul announces to Sae-na and Kum-suk the results of their popularity poll, Kum-Suk will be the one to release a recording. Kum-suk is overjoyed but Sae-na is furious with Min-chul's decision and kicks up a fuss.
Kum-suk is introduced to Na-rae, who will be her manager in future. Na-rae and Yeon-soo are startled by the turn of events.San-jae spots Sae-na alone and weeping. He learns of her plight and consoles her. He sends a drunk Sae-na home and meets Yeon-soo. Sae-na vents her frustration on Yeon-soo, hurting her.
Yeon-soo meets San-jae on her way to meet Min-chul, she pleads with San-jae to take care of Sae-na. While they are talking, Min-chul catches sight of them outside the restaurant and invites San-jae for a meal. During the meal, Min-chul hints to San-jae that he should pack up his feelings for Yeon-soo. Not long after, he receives a call and has to leave. He tells Yeon-soo and San-jae to finish their meal. The waitress takes a snapshot of Yeon-soo and San-jae, as none of them wants the picture, it is left on the restaurant's board.
Min-chul demands an explanation from Sung-chun about Kyong-hee, he brushes away the matter and tells Min-chul not to bring up the matter ever again. Puzzled by his father's reactions, Min-Chul directs his questions to Myong-ja, he assumes both Sung-chun and Myong-ja had betrayed their spouses even before their death.
Kyong-hee continues to look for San-jae and reveals that she is aware of his identity as Zero, San-jae denies. Min-chul sees Kyong-hee giving San-jae a ride home, he warns San-jae about being too friendly with their competitor.
Min-ji discovers the portrait that Yeon-soo has drawn for Min-chul. In a fit of anger, she confronts Yeon-soo and accuses her of baiting Min-chul, she tears up the portrait. Min-chul returns and sees a teary Yeon-soo clutching the torn portrait, he holds her in silence.
In order to hinder Kyong-hee's search for Zero, Min-chul proclaims that Jung-hun is actually Zero. Sung-chun finds out about San-jae's identity as Zero and flares up in anger. Although Myong-ja understands San-jae's, she is helpless about the situation.

Episode 11
Myong-ja brings San-jae to the cemetry and reveals the truth about his father, San-jae is shocked to learn Sung-chun is not his father. San-jae finally understand the reason behind his mother's marriage to Sung-chun.Min-chul hands a contract over to Yeon-soo over dinner, he intends to sign on Sae-na as a singer. Min-Chul explains that this is not the usual procedure to promise a contract to a singer before an album is released. Yeon-soo understand that Min-chul is doing it for her but he refuses to admit his concern for her. After their dinner, Min-chul notices the picture of Yeon-soo and San-jae at the restaurant's notice board. He is clearly upset but keeps his frustrations to himself.
Na-rae hands the contract over to Sae-na on behalf of Yeon-soo and hints that Yeon-soo had probably went through lots of trouble to secure the contract. Sae-Na is not excited, she is contemplating attending an audition at Muse Records. Min-ji arrives at Victory Records looking for Min-chul, she spots Yeon-soo and passes some sarcastic remarks, she is still unable to forgive Yeon-soo. Yeon-Soo's supervisor takes the opportunity to bully Yeon-soo. Min-chul witnesses the scene, although it pains him to see Yeon-soo suffering in silence, he maintains his composure. Yeon-soo is hurt by his indifference and confides her insecurities about their relationship to Na-rae.
Min-chul tells Min-ji to be present for a dinner date as he wants to introduce someone of significance to her, he refuses to disclose the identity of that person despite Min-ji's pestering. He understands that Min-ji will only treat Yeon-soo with respect if he confirms their relationship.
San-jae appears at Kyong-hee's office to ascertain his relationship with Yong-jun. Kyong-hee confirms his doubts and shows him the albums produced by Yong-jun. Min-chul arrives to meet Kyong-hee and is disturbed by San-jae's presence. He informs San-jae to meet him at the company.San-jae arrives to meet Min-chul, he sees Yeon-soo but is not prepared to divulge his troubles to her as yet. Min-chul flares at San-jae and accuses him of plotting against their business, he refuses to accept San-jae's reason for being at Muse Records. Before San-jae leaves, he warns San-jae not to meet Yeon-soo in future.
Yeon-soo expresses her concern about San-jae, which displeases Min-chul. He shows her the picture that they had taken at the restaurant and blames Yeon-soo for not keeping a distance with San-jae. Yeon-soo is upset about his remarks and rejects his invitation to dinner. In spite of his frustration, Min-chul explains he is meeting Min-ji and he intends to introduce Yeon-soo as his girlfriend. Yeon-soo is surprised by his words and agrees to attend the dinner.Yeon-soo meets San-jae outside his home, San-jae tells her he is going on a trip. Noticing San-jae's troubled looks, Yeon-soo is concerned about his well-being and follows him to the station .
Min-chul and Min-ji are waiting at the restaurant, Min-ji is curious about the identity of their guest but Min-chul tells her to be patient. Unknown to them, Yeon-soo is accompanying San-jae upon his request, she calls Min-chul to tell him she will not be attending the dinner. Min-chul is upset and tells Min-ji to return home. San-jae reveals to Yeon-soo that he is not Min-chul's blood brother, however, he has decided to forget about the past and continues with his present life.
Knowing San-jae's reluctance to return home, she sends him to the company. As San-jae is drunk, Yeon-soo remains to take care of him. Min-chul returns home to find that Yeon-soo has not return, he returns to the company. He spots Yeon-soo and San-jae together and is unable to restraint his anger. He vents his anger at Yeon-soo and gets into a fight with San-jae. Yeon-soo stops the fight and tells Min-chul to leave, Min-chul is unable to accept Yeon-soo's attitude towards him.

Episode 12
San-jae senses Yeon-soo's despair and encourages her to chase after Min-chul but Min-chul is nowhere in sight, Yeon-soo begins to feel a twinge of regret for telling Min-chul to leave. San-jae sends her home and tells her to make up with Min-chul. Yeon-soo approaches Min-chul's room, intending to explain to him but Min-chul retains his silence and gently pushes her out of the room. Yeon-soo sees Min-chul at work and is further hurt by his indifference.Although Sae-na is now a contractual singer with Victory Records, she is impatient about waiting to release her album. She attends an audition organised by Muse Records, her vibrance leaves a positive impression with Kyong-hee. Sae-na returns to Victory Records and questions Min-hul about her album release date. Min-chul gives her an outright rejection and tells her to stop using Yeon- soo as a reason for helping her. Sae-na is offended by his words and storms out of his office.
Myong-ja asks a favour of Yeon-soo to deliver some clean clothes to Min-chul at the office as he has not return home. Yeon-soo obliges, happy to have a chance to see him. Yeon-soo tries to explain the mis-understanding but Min-chul tells her to leave his room. Yeon-soo is deeply hurt and weeps outside his door, Min-chul is equally troubled.Sae-na's earlier audition at Muse Records has given her an opportunity to be groomed by Muse Records. Min-chul is unhappy about the news and asks to see Yeon-soo. He tells Yeon-soo to convey a message to Sae-na about her breach of contract with Victory Records and he will terminate her contract if Sae-na does not give him a favourable reply. Yeon-soo is disturbed by his aloofness towards their relationship.
Kyong-hee meets San-jae but is disappointed to know that San-jae prefers to forget the past, before he leaves, she gives him the albums produced by Yong-Jun. San-jae returns home and sees his mother in the garden, he assures her that he will continue with his present life. Back in his room, San- jae listens to his father's works, troubled by the tumultuous emotions.
Yeon-soo waits for Min-chul and finally finds an opportunity to talk to him but faces his anger and insensitivity. A dejected Yeon-soo calls Na-rae and confides in her. It pains Na-rae to see Yeon-soo hurting and she can only direct her anger towards Min-chul.
The next day, Yeon-soo tells Na-rae of her decision to move out of Min-chul's home and her intention to resign from Victory Records, she decides it is the best solution for Min-chul and herself. With her decision to leave, Yeon-soo's other concern is Min-ji, she feels uneasy about leaving her side just as she is getting a grip in life. Yeon-soo accompanies her to buy the necessary books for her future studies, Min-ji is puzzled about the rush. At the cafe, Yeon-soo breaks down, alarming Min-ji.San-jae spots Yeon-Soo at the balcony and enquires about her relationship with Min-chul, she tells him about her decision to move out, he is shocked. San-jae looks for Min-chul and alerts him about Yeon-soo's decision, Min-chul replies with indifference, in actual fact he is much disturbed by the news.
Yeon-soo meets Min-chul the next day and informs him of her plans. Min-chul accepts her decision with cool composure. Before leaving, Yeon-soo hopes that Min-chul will not bar his emotions once again because of her, she hopes he will live happily.San-jae helps Yeon-soo with her luggage and tells her he has plan a farewell party for her. He brings her to the park with the cheery-blossoms in full bloom. He secretly calls Min-chul to meet Yeon-soo at the park, if Min-chul fails to turn up for the meeting, he will assume he no longer has feelings for Yeon-soo and San-jae will not hesistate to woo her.
Although Min-chul intends to ignore San-jae's call, he is clearly disturbed, unable to contain his sentiments for Yeon-soo, he rushes to the park and searches for Yeon-soo. They finally meet and embrace each other. San-jae sees them from afar with mixed emotions.
San-jae receives a call from Kyong-hee, San-jae informs her that he has no intention to make the changes in his life. Undaunted, Kyong-hee made a request to meet him for the last time. At the meeting, Kyong-hee reveals that the success of Victory Records had rode on the death of Yong-jun. San-jae is shocked by the news and seeks Myong-ja's confirmation but Myong-ja attempts to lighten the matter further affirms his doubts. San-jae, unable to accept the darker side of the truth, rushes out. Sung-chun returns home and realise the seriousness of the matter and he blames Myong- ja for not denying the truth.

Episode 13
Kyong-hee is heart-broken seeing San-jae drowning his sorrows. San-jae refuses to go home and puts up at Jung-hun's home. Kyong-hee visits San-jae and offers him a position at Muse Records. Sae-na is puzzled by Kyong-hee's presence ; she introduces herself and hints that she is close to San-jae.
San-jae has not return home for days and Yeon-soo is concerned. Min-chul sees her waiting at the gate and reassures her. She tells him that she hopes that he and San-jae are able to resolve their differences.
Myong-ja tells Min-chul that San-jae will not be returning home in future, she breaks down and reveals San-jae's birthright. Min-chul is angered about living under his father's callous lies over the years.
Sae-na has won the talent contest organised by Muse Records. Yeon-soo apologises to Min-chul about Sae-na and for keeping's San-jae's birthright a secret. Min-chul is eager to meet San-jae and tells Yeon-soo to inform him if she meets San-jae.
Sae-na invites San-jae to her celebration party, Yeon-soo informs Min-chul to meet San-jae. San-jae hopes Min-chul will take care of Myong-ja on his behalf while Min-chul expresses his regrets about mis-treating him.Sung-chun is worried that Kyong-hee will soon learn the truth behind Yong-joon's death, however Bong-tal reassures him and believes San-jae will relent for Myong-ja's sake. Kyong-hee convinces San-jae to help her at her company, she tells him that Sae-na can release her album if San-jae is involved in the music production.
Sae-na tells Kyong-hee that she wishes to work with Jung-hun as she thinks that he is Zero but Kyong-hee reveals the truth to her. Sae-na is deeply hurt that San-jae had kept his identity a secret and confronts him, resulting in a quarrel. San-jae calls Yeon-soo and learns that her happiness is greatly affected by Sae-na's success.

Episode 14
After much consideration, San-jae finally decides to join Muse Records. He meets Min-chul and Sung-chun at an event. Min-chul is disappointed with his decision, he invites San-jae to join him at Victory Records but he turns him down. Min-chul warns him that Kyong-hee has an ulterior motive for using San-jae.
Yeon-soo brings Min-chul to the florist and tells him to buy a bouquet for Myong-ja as it is her birthday. Min-chul feels that it is too late to make amends but Yeon-soo insists. Unknown to him, Yeon-soo has arranged for San-jae to spend the day with Myong-ja at home. Min-chul visits Min-ji at school and is delighted with her progress, he spends the day with her and Yeon-soo.
Yeon-soo gives Myong-ja the flowers and she is surprised by Min-chul's thoughtfulness she is touched by his actions. Yeon-soo is optimistic about their relationship.
Yeon-Soo attends Sae-na's recording session and has a talk with San-jae. He tells her he has given up his studies and assures her he will look out for Sae-na. Yeon-soo tells Min-chul about her visit to San-jae's studio, she is unaware of the growing rivalry between the brothers.
Sae-na is enthusiastic about her album, she hints to San-jae about her feelings for him. Muse Records has organised a media conference to launch Sae-na's career. Min-chul is among the invited guests. Sae-na gives an impressive performance and wins the appraisal of the media, Yeon-soo is excited to witness her achievements.
Kyong-hee deliberately announces to the media that San-jae is the talented Zero. The media is confused as Victory Records has earlied revealed that Jung-hun is Zero, this created a stir among the crowd. Kyong-hee intends to put Min-chul in a spot and informs the media of Min-chul's presence. Min-chul is embarrassed , he is further disturbed when San-jae admits to the media about his hidden persona.

Episode 15
Min-chul confronts San-jae about his admission but San-jae is adamant about his actions, he tells Min-chul he will continue to change himself. Min-chul feels that San-jae is a different person from before.
Back home, Yeon-soo consoles Min-Chul. Min-Chul tells Yeon-soo is is unable to be a good man as she expects of him as he will be competing with San-jae. Seeing his depair, Yeon-soo embraces him. This scene is witness by Sung-chun, he is furious about Min-chul's relationship with Yeon-soo. He tells Min-chul that Yeon-soo is not a suitable marriage partner and degrades her, Min-chul is furious with Sung-chun and orders him to stay out of his affairs. Yeon-soo is saddened by the outcome and cries in her room. Min-chul stands outside her room and affirms his love for her.
The next day, Sung-chun calls for Yeon-soo. He outrightly tells her to move out of his home as he does not approve of her relationship with Min-chul. He tells her that Min-chul is not serious about her. Yeon-soo agrees to move out. Min-chul catches sight of Yeon-soo weeping, he rushes out to her but she avoids him. Na-rae consoles her and tells her she will be leaving Victory Records as she has a new position at Muse Records as Sae-na's manager.
Min-ji is troubled to see Yeon-soo packing her belongings, she is unaware of the reason behind Yeon-soo's leaving. She tries to delay her and tells her to wait till Min-chul returns. Yeon-soo is sad about leaving Min-ji but she assures her that her move will not affect their relationship. Sung-Chun enters the room and tells Min-ji to leave, he is pleased that Yeon-soo is adhering to her promise. He instructs Bong-tal to give Yeon-soo a ride. In the car, Bong-tal makes sarcastic remarks at Yeon-soo, adding to her hurt. He alights her at Na-rae's residence and hands her a cheque from Sung-chun. Yeon-soo refuses to accept it but Bong-tal insists.
San-jae witnesses the scene and is hurt for Yeon-soo, he helps her into the house. Min-chul calls Yeon-soo and arranges to meet her. He is angry that Yeon-soo has moved out because of his father but Yeon-soo assures him that she has done so because she is unhappy about Sung-chun's criticism towards their love.
As Min-chul is leaving, he sees San-jae waiting for him. San-jae is angry about the way Yeon-soo is treated and expresses his regrets for reconciling Min-chul and Yeon-soo. He decides that Min- chul is really not good enough for Yeon-soo, he warns him that he will not hesistate to woo Yeon- soo.
Sung-chun's questions Min-chul's whereabouts and is angry that he has visited Yeon-soo. Min-chul informs him of his decision to move out with Min-ji as he detests facing Sung-chun. Min-chul enters Min-ji's room and sees her staring at a picture that Yeon-soo has given her. Min-ji tells him that Yeon-soo is the only woman whom she thinks is suitable for her brother. Min-Chul gladly tells her that Yeon-soo is in fact his girlfriend. Min-ji is excited by the news.
Yeon-soo returns to Victory Records to collect her personal belongings. She is met by Min-chul who insists on giving her a ride. He brings her to a hotel room and proposes to her. Yeon-Soo is touched by his actions and agrees. Yeon-soo shares the good news with Na-rae and Sae-na, they are happy for her. Sae-na presents Yeon-soo her sample album as an engagement gift.
Sae-na's popularity is fast over-riding Kum-suk's , as such the media has given preference to promoting her album. A dejected Min-chul meets San-jae outside the studio, San-jae apologises to Min-chul, however, Min-chul shakes it off and offers his congratulations to San-jae on his success. Before leaving, he invites San-jae to attend to attend his engagement ceremony.
San-jae is taken aback by the sudden news, he vents his anger in his studio. Sae-na is saddened by his behaviour and tries to console him. He rushes to Yeon-soo's house with intentions of dissuading her.

Episode 16
San-jae confronts Yeon-soo about her engagement and tells her to re-consider her decision. Yeon-soo is upset about his reaction and confirms her love for Min-chul and she will not regret her decision. Sae-na arrives and is further angered by San-jae's persistence, she slaps him in anger.
Bong-tal has been stealing the unreleased albums from Victory Records and selling them to pirate vendors. Min-chul discovers his crime and warns him he will be taking action against him. Bong-tal seeks help from Sung-chun and he threatens to reveal the truth about Yong-jun's death if Sung-chun refuses to help him.
Min-chul visits Yeon-soo at the school ; sensing his anxiety, Yeon-soo teases him and assures him that she will make him happy.
Sae-na visits San-jae and is disturbed to see that he is still troubled by Yeon-soo's engagement. She confides her feelings for him and encourages him to forget about Yeon-soo.
Min-chul informs Myong-ja of his engagement to Yeon-soo. Myong-ja is delighted by the news and sends her blessings. Min-chul's assistant informs him that Sung-chun has been selling off his property and had given Bong-tal the money. This piques Min-chul's curiosity and he confronts Sung-chun, however, Sung-chun's brushes the matter away.
Intending to settle the problem with Bong-tal, Min-chul informs Yeon-soo to wait for him at the church as he will be late. Min-chul informs Bong-tal that he is lodging a report with the authorities with regards to the theft. Bong-tal begs Min-chul to retract his decision, as a desperate measure, he baits Min-chul with Sung-chun's secret.
Yeon-soo is delighted by Min-ji's presence at the church, Min-ji offers her blessings and hopes Yeon-soo will take good care of her brother. They patiently wait for Min-chul's arrival.
Min-chul's thoughts are consumed by Bong-tal's revelation, he is unable to believe that Sung-chun had committed murder. He rushes home to confirm his findings with Sung-chun. Sung-chun's confirmation to the crime pains him deeply. Min-chul approaches the church wearily, he sees San-jae leaving the church. San-jae's dejected form prompts him to make a drastic decision and he turns away from the church.
Min-chul is unable to erase the truth from his mind, he wallows in a drunken state. Yeon-soo waits for Min-chul, gripped with fear with his sudden disappearance.
Yeon-soo finally receives Min-chul's call, he asks her to meet him in his hotel room. Yeon-soo arrives to find Min-chul in a devastated state, yet he refuses to divulge his troubles. Min-chul holds on to Yeon-soo and cries. Min-chul is beyond words providing an explanation to Yeon-soo, he asks her to leave.
Yeon-soo remains in a daze waiting patiently for Min-chul's call, he finally calls and asks her to meet him. Min-chul apologises to Yeon-soo and calmly tells her his decision to break off their engagement. Yeon-soo breaks down and urges him to retract his decision. Min-chul refuses to give in to her although it pains him deeply.

Episode 17
Yeon-soo begs Min-chul to re-consider but he is resolute about his decision. He drives away in pain, leaving Yeon-soo crying behind him.Min-chul asks Myong-ja about Yong-joon and her decision to marry Sung-chun. Myong-ja advises Min-chul not to be angry with Sung-chun as she is thankful for his help in the past.
Sung-chun is furious with Bong-tal for revealing the truth to Min-chul and chases him away. An angry Bong-tal meets Kyong-hee at the bar and falls into her trap, he promises to incriminate Sung-chun in a taped admission to Yong-jun's death.
Sung-chun is worried but Min-chul assures him he will not resort to exposing him for Myong-ja's sake. Min-chul tells Min-ji of his plans to move to another country, Min-ji is upset that Min-chul has no intentions of bringing Yeon-soo along. Assuming Min-chul and Yeon-soo had a tiff, she looks for Yeon-soo and tells her of Min-chul's plan. Yeon-soo is shocked by the news. Min-ji arranges for Min-chul and Yeon-soo to meet, she is eager for them to patch up their differences.
Min-chul is upset to see Yeon-soo at the meeting place. He treats her coldly and blames her for not telling Min-ji that they have separated. Yeon-soo renews her pleas for him to stay with her but Min-chul is harsh towards Yeon-soo.
San-jae looks for Yeon-Soo at the art school only to realise that she has not gone to work. He reaches her home to find her ill, he rushes her to the hospital and informs Na-rae along the way. Na-rae is on an assignment with Sae-na and is unable to leave, out of desperation, she calls Min-chul for help. Min-chul rushes to the hospital but sees San-jae accompanying Yeon-soo, he chooses to stay away. Hearing Yeon-soo calling for Min-chul in her sleep, San-jae calls him but Min-chul has already turned off his phone.
Min-chul arrives home to find San-jae waiting for him. San-jae is disgusted with Min-chul's coldness towards Yeon-soo and punches him. Min-chul is worried for Yeon-soo but purportedly antagonizes San-jae.
Sae-na is jealous of San-jae's concern for Yeon-soo and starts a quarrel with him. Na-rae pacifies her and reveals that she is aware of her feelings for San-jae, however, San-jae seems to have a liking for Yeon-soo. Sae-na expresses her hatred for Yeon-soo, Na-rae tries to explain Yeon-soo's predicament.
Kyong-hee hands San-jae the taped conversation between Sung-chun and Bong-tal. San-jae is badly shocked that Sung-chun had murdered his father.

Episode 18
San-jae rushes home and tells Myong-ja to leave with him. Myong-ja is confused by San-jae's hysteria, just then, Min-chul returns home and witnesses the scene. He knows that San-jae has discovered the truth about Yong-joon's death. To keep Myong-ja from the painful truth, he stops her from going after San-jae. San-jae goes to the hospital and reveals the truth to Yeon-soo, he is seriously troubled.
Min-chul apologises to San-jae for Sung-chun's deeds. San-jae reveals that he intends to expose Sung-chun. Min-chul has no intention of stopping him but pleads with San-jae to wait till he leaves with Min-ji as he fears that Min-ji might not be able to accept the truth. San-jae is surprised to learn that Min-chul plans to leave the country, however, he refuses to accede to his request.
Min-chul secretly waits at the hospital to take a glance at Yeon-soo on the day of her discharge and settles her medical bills without her knowledge, Yeon-soo assumes that San-jae has paid her bills.
Min-chul settles his work at the company and informs Sung-chun of his decision. Sung-chun pleads with Min-chul to stay but Min-chul is disturbed by the fact that Yong-joon's death contributed to the success of Victory Records. He informs Sung-chun that San-jae is aware of the truth.
Kyong-hee prods San-Jae to expose Sung-chun, Sae-na overhears their conversation and is shocked.
Min-ji calls Yeon-soo and informs her that they will be leaving, she urges Yeon-soo to look for Min-chul. Yeon-soo asks Min-chul if his decision to leave her is linked to the truth of Yong-joon's death but Min-chul tells her he is unable to provide her with any happiness and stands by his decision.
Sung-chun intents to reconcile with San-jae but he harshly informs him that he has reported his crime. The statute of Sung-chun's crime has expired and the court has to indeminfy Sung-chun but San-jae is determined to ruin Sung-chun's reputation. San-jae calls Myong-ja and informs her of his actions, Myong-ja is shocked beyond words. Sung-chun returns home to find that Myong-ja has committed suicide.
Na-rae sends Yeon-soo to the airport to have a last talk with Min-chul. Yeon-soo tells Min-chul that she finally understands his intentions and sends him her blessings. Min-chul is saddened when he sees Yeon-soo throws her engagement ring into the wishing pond.
Min-ji hears the news of Sung-chun's scandal at the airport, she is shocked and rushes home with Min-chul.

Episode 19
San-jae expresses his regrets for indirectly causing Myong-ja's death. Yeon-Soo catches a glimpse of Min-chul at the crematorium and searches frantically, she is disappointed when she is unable to see him.
Min-chul is angry to see Sung-chun in a drunken stupor. The scandal has affected his business and it is facing a closure, Na-rae and Yeon-soo are sad about the fate of Victory Records.
Min-chul has moved his family to a smaller unit, leaving Min-ji to take care of Sung-chun. Min-chul sends Myong-ja's belongings to San-jae, San-jae is shocked to see him. Min-chul tells him to keep his presence from Yeon-soo.
San-jae visits Yeon-soo at the art school and sees her weeping as she stares at Min-chul's portrait, it hurts him badly to know that Yeon-soo is still thinking of Min-chul. He attests his feelings for once again.
Sae-na's album has topped the sales chart, she looks for San-Jae to share her joy. Just then, San-jae receives a call from his senior at the hospital. He informs San-jae that he has scheduled an appointment with Yeon-soo for a further medical check but she has missed her appointment. He informs San-jae to bring Yeon-soo to the hospital as there might be a problem with her health.
Min-chul misses Yeon-soo and waits outside her school to catch a glimpse of her. Yeon-soo sees him and rushes down from the bus. Min-chul tells her that this is an incidental meeting and she should not take their reunion seriously.
Yeon-soo shares her joy with Na-rae and Sae-na, Na-rae chides Yeon-soo for not being forthright with Min-Chul. Yeon-soo tells her that she was afraid she might drive Min-chul away with her eagerness.
San-jae's friend confirms that Yeon-soo has a blood disorder and tells Yeon-soo that she should be prepared to be admitted to the hospital for detailed medical checks. San-jae tries to assure Yeon-soo nevertheless she is alarmed.
Min-chul seeks his previous assistants and tells them of his plans for a business venture. They are enthusisatic about his plans and are eager to assist him.
Yeon-soo is overjoyed to see Min-ji. Min-ji tries to convince Yeon-soo that Min-chul still loves her. Just then, she learns from Min-chul that their father is missing. Yeon-soo accompanies Min-ji home and meets Min-chul, he is dismayed to see her. He tells her that he has to devote his time to taking care of his family, as she will only distract him , Min-chul tells Yeon-soo not to visit again.

Episode 20
San-jae tells Yeon-soo that she might have contracted leukaemia. Yeon-soo dissuades Na-rae from visiting her at the hospital and assures her that San-jae will take care of her. Sae-na is jealous of Yeon-soo and thinks she has fallen for San-jae but Na-rae is sure that Yeon-soo is still in love with Min-chul.
Yeon-soo is shocked to learn about her illness and wanders alone. She arrives at Min-chul's flat and sees him from afar. Yeon-soo calls Min-chul to meet her, he expresses his unhappiness about her presence but Yeon-soo urges him to accompany her for a day. Min-chul senses that Yeon-soo is troubled and presses her for an answer but she denies. Yeon-soo is unable to supress her emotions and holds on to Min-chul but he is indifferent.
Min-chul questions San-jae about the matter troubling Yeon-soo but San-jae ignores him and tells him not to look for Yeon-soo again.
San-jae finds Yeon-soo at the park and consoles her, Yeon-soo pleads with him to keep her illness a secret from Na-rae and Sae-na, however, San-jae is concerned that she will not be receiving the proper care. Yeon-soo assures him she will be fine.
The club's manager blackmails Sae-na but she refuses to accede to his request, as a result he discloses her past to the media. Sae-na looks for San-jae but San-jae tells her he is busy, in actual fact, San-jae is at her house helping Yeon-soo. Sae-na is furious to see San-jae sheltering his attention on Yeon-soo and vents her anger on Yeon-soo.
Yeon-soo leaves for a short trip and Na-rae is worried when Yeon-soo has not return. She calls Min-chul but he is clueless about her whereabouts, he tells Na-rae to inform him when Yeon-soo returns. Yeon-soo returns and is frustrated by San-jae's concern. Min-chul arrives to see her but she vents her anger on him and tells him to keep out of her affairs. Min-chul is futher convinced that Yeon-soo is troubled but she refuses to reveal her troubles. Soon after, Yeon-soo collapses.

Episode 21
Na-rae reaches home and finds Yeon-soo unconcious, she meets Min-chul and asks for his help. Min-chul is alarmed to see Yeon-soo unconcious , he rushes her to the hospital and stays at her side.
Kyong-hee visits Sung-chun and agitates him, Min-ji chases her out and calls Min-chul. Min-chul tells Na-rae that he needs to settle a problem at home and tells Na-rae to take care of Yeon-soo. He catches sight of San-jae hurrying to the hospital. Na-rae is puzzled when Yeon-soo is given a blood transfusion, she presses San-jae about her condition and is shocked by his revelation. Yeon-soo awakes and insists of being discharged, she begs San-jae to accede to her request.
Min-chul arrives home and learns of Kyong-hee's visit, he is upset. He returns to the hospital and learns that Yeon-soo has been discharged, he calls Yeon-soo but Na-rae receives the call and assures him Yeon-soo is well. Min-chul's uneasiness surfaces.
Na-rae is greatly affected by Yeon-soo's illness, in tears, she blames Yeon-soo for keeping it a secret. She expresses her fear for Yeon-soo's condition. Yeon-soo consoles her.
Min-ji looks for Yeon-soo at the art school and expresses her wish to study in her school. Burdened by her illness, Yeon-soo wishes to keep her distance with Min-chul and Min-ji ; she dissuades Min- ji from her intentions. Min-ji is hurt by Yeon-soo's unwillingness to see her, she leaves in frustration.
The various media cancels Sae-na's publicity schedules despite Na-rae's pleas. Sae-na is upset and vents her anger by putting up at the club and causing trouble to the manager. He calls Yeon-soo to bring Sae-na home. San-jae looks for Yeon-soo and insists that she attends her treatment but Yeon-Soo is worried for Sae-na. Aware of her plight, San-jae promises her that he will be responsible for Sae-na's future happiness if Yeon-soo seeks treatment.
Kyong-hee informs San-jae of her intentions to leave the country.Na-rae tricks Yeon-soo into attending the opening of Min-chul's new company. Yeon-soo sees Min-chul and rushes out, Min-chul runs after her and enquires about her health. Yeon-soo turns away and enters the elevator, unable to supress her emotions, she cries to herself. Min-chul notices that the elevator remains stationary ; he sees Yeon-soo crying and embraces her. Yeon-soo is resolute about her decision to keep her distance, she breaks away and runs down the stairs.
Na-rae runs after her but is reprimanded by Yeon-soo. Na-rae pains to see Yeon-soo suffering without Min-chul by her side. She pleads with her to reveal the truth to Min-chul but Yeon-soo refuses to burden him further.
Min-chul presses Na-rae about Yeon-soo's troubles, she finally breaks down and tells Min-chul the alarming news. After much thought, Min-chul has made a decision, however, he tells Na-rae to keep it from Yeon-soo.
Sae-na returns home from a date with San-jae, her happiness delights Yeon-soo. San-jae promises her he will continue to make Sae-na happy and reminds her of her promise to seek medical treatment.
The next day, Min-chul arrives at the art school and brings Yeon-soo for a meal. He tells her of his intentions for a reconcilation, Yeon-soo is bewildered and expresses her objections but Min-chul is persistent. He later brings her along for a movie and takes a picture with her. On their way home, Min-chul expresses his happiness at being with her. Min-chul calls her at the bus-stand, Yeon-soo expresses her gratitude to him for being with her, she tells him that she aware of his intentions and is sad about burdening him with her illness. Min-chul is concerned and rushes back to see her.

Episode 22
Min-chul rushes to see Yeon-soo and attests his love for her. He tells her he is prepared to bear through thick and thin with her. Yeon-soo is finally convinced of his sincerity, she agrees to the reconcilation.
Min-chul accompanies Yeon-soo to the hospital. San-jae arrives at the hospital, concerned about Yeon-soo's treatment. He sees Min-chul and is aware of their reconcilation, he tells Min-chul to take good care of Yeon-soo. Min-chul is sorry about the turn of events and apologises to San-jae, however, San-jae tells him that Yeon-soo's happiness is their main concern. He tells Min-chul to contact him if he needs help in the future. The brothers finally settled their differences.
Min-chul spends the day with Yeon-soo. Outside her home, he notices her nose bleed and is concerned. Yeon-soo tries to lighten the seriousness of her condition and consoles him in return. Na-rae returns and intrudes on their privacy, Min-chul is greatly embarrassed. Na-rae teases Yeon-soo about Min-chul.
Yeon-soo is unable to carry out her daily injections, she calls San-jae for help. San-jae is glad for the opportunity to see her. Sae-na returns and witnesses San-jae injecting Yeon-soo, she is upset to see them together but is more puzzled about Yeon-soo's condition. San-jae finally reveals the truth to her, Sae-na's emotions are mixed : she is angry with Yeon-soo, yet she fears losing her. Sae-na vents her helplessness on Yeon-soo, Yeon-soo consoles her.
Min-chul calls Yeon-soo, Na-rae receives the call and informs him that Yeon-soo has a fever, a side effect from her injections. She assures him that Yeon-soo is well however, Min-chul is worried. Min-chul prays for Yeon-soo recovery and proposes to her again. He hands her the engagement ring that she had thrown in the wishing pond at the airport. Yeon-soo is confused, she tells Min-chul that she needs time to consider his proposal. Yeon-soo tells Na-rae of Min-chul's proposal, Na-rae is excited by the news but Yeon-soo tells her she has no intentions of marrying Min-chul. She understands her condition and is not eager to burden Min-chul further.
Yeon-soo arranges to meet Min-chul and informs him of her decision. Min-chul attempts to persuade her is futile. He is disappointed by the outcome. Na-rae tells Min-ji of Min-chul's proposal and asks for her help to plan the wedding. Min-ji is delighted by the news and starts to plan for the wedding. Na-rae tricks Yeon-soo to the bridal studio on the pretext that she would like to try the bridal gowns on a whim.
San-jae fetches Yeon-soo on a date. He tells her it is his birthday and he would like to celebrate with her for the last time. He is aware of the marriage plans and wants to spend the last time together with Yeon-soo.
Min-ji shows Min-chul the wedding invitations that she has designed for his wedding. Min-chul is surprised by his sister's sensitivity and thanks her. Yeon-soo returns home from her date with San-jae and sees the bridal gown and Min-ji's wedding invitation. She is taken aback by the wedding plans, just then, Min-chul calls her and convinces her to turn up at the wedding.
At the wedding venue, Min-chul waits anxiously for Yeon-soo's arrival but Yeon-soo and Na-rae are delayed by the heavy traffic. Na-rae and Yeon-soo decide to reach the venue on foot. Min- chul is relieved and overjoyed to see Yeon-soo. As the wedding takes place, Sung-chun arrives secretly, he notices San-jae and hurries away

Episode 23
Min-chul and Yeon-soo are on their honeymoon trip. Yeon-soo is unwell and slips away, Min-chul discovers her absence and is frantic, he sees her taking a rest and is concerned about her condition. Yeon-soo assures Min-chul that she is well, they have a heartfelt talk about their future.
They return to the hotel, Na-rae hands Yeon-soo a wedding gift before she leaves. Yeon-soo changes into the nightgown that Na-rae has given her but she breaks down in the rest room. Min-chul overhears her cries and is equally miserable but maintains his facade of happiness.
Sung-chun pays his respects to Myong-ja and meets San-jae but his faced with his coldness. San-jae notices his sickly state and helps him home. Sung-chun is ashamed of his previous attitude towards Yeon-soo, he is glad that Yeon-soo is willing to marry Min-chul and expresses his gratitude to her. Min-ji shows them the room that she has prepared for them, the couple is delighted. Yeon-soo expresses her uneasiness about keeping the truth from Sung-chun and Min-ji, however Min-chul assures her he will tell them in due time.
Sae-na and Na-rae has prepared a feast to welcome Yeon-soo home. Yeon-soo is surprised by their efforts. She meets San-jae and is grateful to San-jae for his friendship.
San-jae plans to rebuild Sae-na's music career and tells Sae-na that he hopes to find his future with her help, Sae-na is delighted by his words.
Min-ji tells Yeon-soo that it is Sung-chun's birthday and she hopes to prepare a feast for him. Yeon-soo agrees and goes to the market with Min-ji. Yeon-soo is worn out and Min-ji is concerned but Yeon-soo assures her.
Yeon-soo hurries to prepare dinner. Min-chul fails to notice her unwell state and Yeon-soo is reluctant to ruin the occasion. She soon collapses in front of her family and alarms everyone.

Episode 24 (Final Episode)
Min-ji is shocked to learn of Yeon-soo's condition and blames herself for wearing Yeon-soo out. San-jae consoles her and tells her to be strong for Min-chul and Yeon-soo's sake.
Yeon-soo awakes and apologises to Min-chul. San-jae consoles Min-chul and informs Min-chul that Yeon-soo's condition is worsening. The possible solution is to look for a suitable marrow donor among the others as both Min-chul and San-jae are unsuitable for the donation.
Min-chul and San-jae try their luck in locating an overseas donor while Na-rae, Sae-na and Min-ji insists on taking the tests and rallies among their acquaintances for a suitable donor. The initial test determines a possibility of Sae-na being a donor but they decide to keep it from Yeon-soo till the final results are released.
Na-rae notices Yeon-soo's listlessness and reveals Sae-na's test results to cheer her up. Yeon-soo is delighted by the news and hopeful. Min-chul senses her happiness but is nevertheless worried.
Sae-na's final test results proves to be unsuitable. Sae-na cries over the results, she and Na-rae console one another. Min-chul is deeply saddened, he breaks the news to Yeon-soo subtly and assures her they will be able to locate a suitable donor.
Min-chul receives a call from the hospital about a possible donor. Min-chul and Yeon-soo visit the doctor and are told about the high risks involve if she decides to go through the operation. Min-chul is worried but Yeon-soo insists on the operation. The couple reassures one another and speak optimistically about their future.
Min-chul waits anxiously outside the operating theatre. Yeon-soo finally emerges from the operating theatre, she holds on to Min-chul in her semi-conscious state. Min-chul is overjoyed by the success.
