Also some netizensagrees "Romantic Princess" and earlier in the year's drama with Lee Weiand Li Xiao Lu's "Sparrow Falls in love with Phoenix" acting and scenesare nearly the same, questioning where is the originality of this drama?
Towardsthis, GTV drama dept manager Chen Zhi Han says "Romantic Princess" isadapted from the Japanese manga "Romance Godan Katsuyou", completelyoriginal from the author. Episode One Summary:
SPOILERT ALERT
So basically Angela (sorry, I'm going to use English names for all of them until I can actually remember the Chinese ones!! )is pretty poor. She dresses in a bear costume and works for some guyselling...?? Anyways, so basically it seems like she wants to save hermoney for a house as well. So she read this newspaper advertisementabout this RICH old guy and his FOUR "sons" (and of course these fourguys are our LOVELY Chun, Calvin, George, and Eric
Anyways,the NEXT day...a limo and lots of guards come to her house and tellsher parents that Angela is ACTUALLY the granddaughter. TURNS outAngela's parents ACTUALLY "brought" her...cause they couldn't havekids, and some random person had a baby...so they paid money forAngela!! Of course, Angela doesn't believe them at first...but thenFINALLY she realizes that it's true...and she gets really mad & sadcause she doesn't want to leave her parents! But still, she agreed togo back with the (gay-looking butler) ! & once there, she meets her grandfather...and he told her tahtshe looked EXACTLY like her mom (which is FUNNY cause you KNOW it'sAngela who ALSO played the part of the mom) and somehow, because thereis a black mole on Angela's butt...and THAT'S why they know that AngelaIS the REAL granddaughter...
Meanwhile, Chun & the rest ofthe brothers see Angela...and immediately Chun dislikes her and thinkthat she's a fake!! hehe, this part was a pretty mean, but CUTE partwhen he confronted her about it!! You see, it seems like Angela REALLLYliked Chun when she first saw him walking towards her cause he's VERYcute looking...BUT then he said mean things to her...and then shestarted hating him!!! <33 (or you mean, FALLING harder for him) lol
& the part where Chun randomly APPEARED in her room was pretty cute!! hehe, they were SO close to kiss each other!!! LOL but yeah, more bickering between them...^^ lol
Thatnight, Angela tries to call her parents but they didn't pick up andturns out that the grandfather decided to give them a NEW house as hisappreciation for watching over Angela all these years, and the parentswere moving into the new house. So Angela just go to sleep; the nextday she decides that she will go visit her old house. Then she runsinto Chun!! XD
Chun as the same made Angela mad at him by saying she steal valuablethings and running away. At first she is thinking of waiting for thegrandpa to wake up and tell him she is leaving because she is so madthat she decided to leave straight away. Then the housekeeper told Chunthat she didn't even took the money her grandpa gave her. This madeChun to think whether he had wrongly accused her. (hmm.... seems that he started to think the other way of her)
Laterthe housekeeper send Angela home. She is questioning him whether theywent the wrong direction. The housekeeper told her that her parents hadmoved to a new house. When they reach the new house, she thought herparents had strike a lottery because the new house is really very big.
Herparents is very happy to meet her. They told her that the house is apresent by the Emp to show his gratitude towards them for bringing upAngela but there is an addition condition that they must agree not todisturb Angela in the future. Angela is very sad and told them that shedoesn't like to live with the Emp. She said that everyone there isweird and assuming she is there to fight for the inheritance. (seemsthat she is referring to Chun  )
Then her parents decided to give up the house and together moved back to their own house.
