Entahlah sara, kalau sampai ke Malaysia....mesti dah habis kena potong2! Tak tau apa yang tinggal, kalau kissing scenes kena potong....tau2 jelah bukan simple kisses but really passionate ones! 
Anyway, release date in Korea is July 30th but the response to its premiere on July 20th lepas nampaknya sangat2 menggalakkan. :ah:
Kalau ada peluang, bolehlah pergi ke Singapura sebab the movie will be screened at the theatres there starting Sept 2nd. Mungkin, besar kemungkinan....LBH & CJW akan datang (akan dijemput) for the promotional purposes. Anyone interested? :bodek: |

Why Lee Byung Hun was cast as the main character, the movie director:
When I thought of the idea of this man as a perfect person, it also included his looks, so I had no choice but to exclude Song Kang Ho and Seol Kyung Ku. (laughter) Just kidding...
I did think of Senior Choi Min Shik, but he didn't seem right for the character. However, I didn't cast Lee Byung Hun because I couldn't find anyone else.
In the story , the director is caught in an extremely difficult situation. The intruder who enters the house of the helpless director is an extremely destructive person; he is the sort who would not blink or react no matter what the director does to try to free himself. Therefore, since it is hard to control his emotions, I thought it was also possible not to reveal this character to the audience. Of course, I would want a handsome actor as well as one who does excellent acting; moreover, the person playing the director needs to have the image of a star. I thought that in the movie, the character is already a star (famous) director who has everything, so even if the actor playing the role is handsome, he would not be able to bring the character to life if he is not also a star actor himself. While Im Won Hee talks a lot, the director role does not have much speaking parts, even if he talks, he does not say anything significant. He doesn't say anything more than things like "Why are you doing this to me?" and "I am sorry."
Lee Byung Hun has very mesmerizing eyes that enable him to communicate all sorts of emotions, simply by looking. Therefore, I decided that Lee Byung Hun had to be the one.

The Sweet Life is about a hotel manager (LBH) who gets made use of, then tangled up with the mafia (headed by non other than Kim Young Chul). He then falls in love with the Boss's woman Shin Min Ah and it just goes downhill from there.

lee byung hun is of average height , and his face abit too tanned ..though he has handsome appearance ....but he is one charismatic star .who is not intimidating that make one unapproachable . On the silver screen , he appear more dashing ..but in reality..he is not eager to desmonstrate his perfect image on the silver screen . as this is because he is not good at exhibiting himself ....rather he can only show his true self
Everyone has a secret . is one movie which fully demonstrate lee byung hun charms . In the movie , lee is in the role of a man who bring joy and love to three sisters . When he become shy , you will noticed how charamastic he is .....and below is excerpt of interview with lee byung hun :
Q. In your past movie , you been casted as mainly in the role of teacher , soldier , characters with postive image ...In this new movie everyone has a secret . you play the role of playboy .is that a new challege :
A: Intially , i choose this project with ease and relaxing mood as treating it as warming up exercise . i am not underminding comedy actors ...i really thought that being in a comedy project is relaxing , but in actual fact it is not so .to make someone laugh without use of exaggerating (comedy) physical movements , this is not a easy task . i felt , the closer my acting is to reality .the more it obstruct my performance in a comedy . this put me in a dilemna
Q. it appears .you are an actor who is not satisfacted with your acting ability
A. After the movie premier , i usually got to threates and hid among the audience to watch the movie . i have watched JSA for more then ten times . I like to observe people comments about me
Q. In this movie ,which parts are you most satisfact with
The storyplot do not place too much emphasis (or adhere to ) on the moral standards of our society . In a conservative society like ours , no other movie will be more penalise then this movie . to develop this storyplot with lighthearted momentum is not an easy task but it is unqiue ..and women shall learnt their own lessons from this movie ..
Q . ever since HArmonium in my memory , it seem you have never suffer any failure . And in the past , the roles you choose are all characters with achievement . never one ..who live aimlessly in life
Normally , i will read the script myself and make the decision whether to accept it . Though the decision is based on my instinct , but normally instict is govern by rationality . I placed emphasis on the realism of the story and the appropriateness of the character actions . . Hence , killer movies and comdey had not been my choice
Q : . now a question that have been asked for 253 times . what are the special qualities of the three actress that co star with you in the movie
. it really had been asked 253times ( hahah ) ...........Choi Ji wo come across as honest and humbly accept other's advice . And in reality , KIm hyo jim is more childish then you see on the big screen . she is just like a student , so eager to learn everyting . and perhaps as she is older . Choo Sang-mi is a friend whom you can talk to
Q You have achived success through your movies , and have a passionate love affair . and went through heartbreaking separating (with SHK ) ..and what is left now
now . i want to learn yoga , or perhaps buddist teachings ...occassionally . there are traces of depression that welled up .. if i dont feel peaceful ..then it will be hard to feel satisfact ..satisfaction stream from being able to maintain yourself in state of peace
Q it seem you dont look like someone who just fallen out of love ......as if you are not hurt .
alot of people have mentioned the same to me . alot of fans encourage me to buck up .. in the eyes of my fans ..i am pitful ...i dont want to give others that feeliing ..and i dont wish to appeared hurt .or not hurt at all
Q what are your future plans
my next project will be director kim ji won 's traid movie ..and perhaps like Yoo ji tae , to direct short feature films or be in threate performace will also be good opporunities . for the past ten years , being through major portion of my life .the more your tried to maintain your current status ..the more you might felt lost ....i wanted to be in job which will enable to immerse myself init whole heartly as like in acting ......and in late autumn . i will be release an abumn collection through Japan pony canyon . i just come back from Hawaili for the photos shoting
=> ah .it is surprise to hear him mention yoo ji tae .but he is also one very promising young actor ..he is learning to be a director .and also act in threate performance

Betul tu...they have excellent brother-sister chemistry in Beautiful Days but that was 3 years ago. The biggest challenge will be on SMA, whether she can match LBH's serious acting performance and the other male lead, KYC. This is no light-hearted drama, so it'll be interesting watching the new pair....
LBH & SMA has a 14-year old gap, and she has an even bigger age difference with KYC. It'll be something to look forward to, it'll be a great movie if they can pull this one off... |
