Kudos to Leehom for yet another chart-smashing album.
His latest studio effort, The 18 Martial Arts, was certified gold in Malaysia, raking in sales of more than 10,000 copies upon its release here on Aug 13.
Describing the east-meet-west album as his labour of love, the incredibly gifted Chinese pop meastro says, "I'm now officially a music man and movie man."

"I'm happy to be the first musician in Asia to release a concept album that is tied to a movie, Love In Disguise. Such idea has been greatly explored in the West by artistes like Eminem (8 Mile) and Miley Cyrus (Hannah Montanna). But not over here in Asia."
Featuring 11 tracks of beautifully crafted classical pop tunes - all penned by the pop master himself - The 18 Martial Arts draws inspiration from acclaimed Taiwanese director, Ang Lee and Hong Kong martial arts superstar, Jackie Chan, whom Leehom has had the privilege of working with on critic's favourite Lust, Caution and box office hit Big Small Soldier respectively.
"They are jack of all trade and master of all," enthuses the pop star and aspiring film director. "In Chinese saying, if you know 18 martial arts, you're master of all. That's what I aspire to be and that's why I've chosen the phrase as the title of my album."
To promote the album and the movie in KL, the pop star also held exclusive showcase and autograph session on Sunday evening, which was attended by more than 4000 of his screaming fans - who gleefully called themselves Hom Maniacs.
