Myanmar added two more gold medals to their Chinlone haul as both the men’s and the women’s team dominated Chinlone non-repetition play at Wunna Theikdi Indoor Stadium (B) on Saturday.
The men overpowered Cambodia 359-291 and the women topped Laos 289-201.
In the men’s non-repetition preliminaries, Malaysia on 259 and Singapore on 159 won the bronzes. Cambodia on 145 and Malaysia with 100 in the preliminaries took the women’s bronze medals.
In Water polo at the Zeyarthiri Swimming Pool, Thailand swam past Malaysia 9- 3.
The second game, Indonesia, featuring the SEA Games’ youngest water polo competitor Bradley Legawa, 16, slammed Myanmar, fielding the Games’ oldest player Hla Naing, 45, with an unrelenting attack.
The match ended 30-1.
In Wushu at Wunna Theikdi Indoor Stadium (A), Myanmar’s AUNG Si Thu took gold in the men’s changquan with 9.70 points. ACHMAD Hulaefi (INA) got silver with a 9.69, pushing Xuan Hiep Tran (VIE) to bronze by a single point.
In men’s duilian, KYAW Zin Thit and WAI Phyo Aung (MYA) got gold on 9.64 points over Daniel PARANTAC, Norlence Ardee Catolico and John Keithley CHAN (PHI), silver on 9.62, and BARAMEE Kulsawadmongkol, PITAYA Sae Yang and SUJINDA Sae Yang (THA) on 9.60, bronze.
In women’s taijiquan, Indonesian star Lindswell took the gold medal with 9.71 points. WAI MAR TUN THEIN (MYA) got silver with 9.68 and LU Yi Chan (MAS) took bronze with 9.66 points.
The women’s nanquan gold medal went to Diana Bong Siong LIN (MAS), 9.70,.Minh Phoung BUI (VIE) took silver with 9.68 points and Cheau Xuen TAI (MAS) got bronze on 9.67.
